When I visited I had asked Mimi whether she has the "house phone" or the boss. She said it was the boss. So I texted the number on the Google listing and told the owner that I had enjoyed my visit, written a positive review, and recommended to my friends to visit this new store. I also said that a couple of my friends didn't get the same level of service, and that makes me look bad and think twice about positive recommendations in the future. I wished him / her luck in this new business, but said that inconsist visits aren't going to work in Renton because there are great alternatives. I also said they need better insulation around one of the sealed off doors, a bigger mirror, and a better doorbell.

They replied thanking me. No clue if it will make a difference. Sucks that she didn't bring her A game to your visit. You deserve better.

This whole situation really got me really introspective about why and how I hobby. I've had worse experiences but left in a much better mood many different times, so why was I so annoyed this time?

It all boils down to I wasn't doing what I really like to do, which is going based purely on feel and vibe. You'd had an experience that sounded great and I went in there looking for that experience. And then was bummed when it didn't work out. But what I like to do is challenge myself and really try to read the vibe of the girl and determine if it's going to be a good experience or a bad one.

And if I'm being honest, the vibe didn't feel quite right with Mimi, right from the start. I should've done my standard approach (walk in, ask how much, appraise the girl and location, then decide if stay or go). That's on me.

Just left the Health Spa on Aurora.
