For any sugaring / mongering -type activity, I remove my plate beforehand. I often am in a parking lot, therefore not on public streets, but have sometimes driven some reasonable distance w / no plates, and have never had any difficulty. I also have black electrical tape over the VIN # that must be visible through the windshield of my car, so a casual person walking by can't just snap a cell photo.

It's crazy that we have to worry about this stuff on top of the other things we already have on our plates when mongering. I checked Rubmaps, and the locations are indeed all closed now. Probably permanently because no spa is going to replace a location that got raided. Unless they plan on staying legit.

You can earn up to $1,000.00 reporting massage parlors. Remember when I made a post about how these establishments get caught? Remember the part about disgruntled customers or pissing off some connected person's kid? My thoughts are disgruntled customers are reporting these massage parlors while getting a cash payout.

I bet one of the girls pissed off an off duty police officer and then the investigation got started. These places have been operating in TO for years. And there are tons more!

From what was on the police report, it looks like multiple agencies, including the FBI were / are monitoring each location and identifying customers going in. Probably by getting their license plate numbers. I would definitely stay away from them if any of them are still open.

Not surprised about Four Seasons given its location. Victoria was likely on borrowed time since it was in the same plaza as the Nuru spots. Victoria I remember had a camera directly at customers faces when they came in that I could see when I was in the room. That was enough for me not to want to come back. Granted I don't think it was recording and more so just a live feed, but it was enough for me to say no thanks.

Both of these locations were just fine. The Ventura County Sheriff's started the investigation of Swan Spa in Ventura area, and later discovered the owner of that spa had several other locations.

The original post and my recommendation for Coffee was regarding Four Seasons Health Spa in Fullerton, not Four Seasons in Lake Forest.

It was recording. Behind the counter wall, there are a few printed pictures letter size of customers to be banned. The reason are written down on the picture. From the angle, it is from the obvious hidden security camera outside the counter.

I went there first time on Sunday. Door unlocked. Place seems to be abandoned suddenly. Messy bedsheets on the tables. Grocery delivery still on the counter. I waited on the sofa enjoying the tranquility for at least 10 min. There seems to be a lock on the Four season door. On Monday the Victoria door was locked. Nobody answered the phone since Sunday and voice mail was full.
