Hey all,
Went and saw someone from Moon Girls a few weeks ago and now having not too fun a time peeing. Am prone to kidney stones and am super stressed. Anyone else have a negative experience like this with them?

Posts: 3293As I said, a majority of Americans have HSV1 and it isn't an STI. I don't worry about it and don't think a girl should either. And if your SO gets out of kilter about you having HSV1, have her read facts on the CDC website. It means absolutely zero. You could have had it for decades. And if you just picked up recently, it doesn't indicate cheating.

Posts: 155In your experience. Would you say hsv1 is a deal breaker? My arrangement has agreed to std test at my will and go to the doctor for birth control and anything else. She's definitely playing ball but if my test comes back negative for hsv1 I'm not sure how to go about it LOL it would mean just sex and no kissing from what I keep getting. I am fortunate the rest of her panel came back clean but she does seem misinformed about hsv1 . Since I met her I may have seen a cold sore on her but it's hard to tell if it was acne breakout because it was like one bump near her lip. Anyways I've only tested once in my life back in 2018 and I realized they didn't even include hsv1 . It get its common. I'm curious if any men actually brought it home and their wives never noticed.

Posts: 3293You gents are in Atlanta, the home of the CDC. They have statistics on these topics you should learn about. They have a web site.

It is the cause of cold sores, inter alia, and can be transmitted by kissing, by drinking after someone, etc. It is not a STI, though for one reason or another, it is often included in testing panels.
More interesting, there is a demographic difference in the HSV-2 seropositivity incidence. You should look up the age and ethnic prevalence, and use that to inform who you play with.
Personally, like most guys w / a SO, a HSV-2 diagnosis for me would be a HUGE deal. I take no chances.

I've had it since I was like 5. Generally it's cold sores on the lips. The estimate is that like 60% of the population has it. Some have it but never have a breakout. And you'd most likely know if she had a breakout, they're generally hard to miss. Valtrex works well to suppress breakouts. You can get it through Hims pretty easily. Best of luck.

Posts: 149I would not worry about HsV1
As the previous post said, hsv1 is common. It's Hsv2 that you don't want to take it home.

Posts: 68I know when you hear that it may sound scary however, almost every one on earth has Hvs -1 by the time they are 5 years old. It is the strain that causes cold sores. Hvs-2 is the strain that causes genital herpes and the one you should be worried about. Even with Hvs-2 unless there is an active outbreak the chances of getting that is very slim.

Posts: 155My 2 month arrangement has hsv1
I've been with my first SA girl for two months and I made her get a full std test last week and she came back negative on everything but positive on hsv1.
I've been kissing this chick and letting her give me BBBJ and BBFS cip and everything. The hsv-1 has got me worried obviously like many I'm happily married so ran to get tested myself today. Any of you guys ever deal with this BS. I'd love to continue with my arrangement she's definitely my type and everything but it might be a deal breaker for me.

If you are going to go BBFS I would recommend at the very least getting a prescription for Doxy PEP. Protects against chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. If you want another layer of protection then HIV PREP. I've talked to some kgirls and they say they are already on these.

It's fine to discuss but probably beyond the scope of this particular forum. Just don't make your risk decisions based on rumors about which agencies might be high or low risk, perception of who is "low volume", etc.

Posts: 63I try my best to avoid BBFS (except once) but yeah, sorry for being the guy who reminds us the risks. I've been reading this forum for a couple of years now (former senior member) and the topic of STDs came up more frequently after HT entered the game. DMs are welcome if it is not good for public discussion.

Dude, all of these agencies are STD risk. You see how many people are on here talking about BBFS? There is an inherent risk to this, and the more bare service the higher the risk. Period. If you are making risky decisions frequently, consider taking PREP.

Posts: 63Are there any STD concerns with this agency? I got cold feet booking with HT after reports of STD here. Miyabi is definitely intriguing, but I've been finding myself difficult to convince for the past few months. MILA makes me feel more like I'm closer to pull the trigger.
