It would be a good idea to turn off the biometric login on your phone and move to a long-digit PIN or design login the longer the better. You cannot be forced to give up a PIN or login design, but you can be forced to log in via Face I'd or fingerprint. (Have vs. Know is my understanding.) Keeping up to date with security updates on the phone is also a must, and I would reboot my phone before walking in and not log in to make sure it's fully secure.

Yes, they certainly could always try to charge you with solicitation if you showed up, got in the room and somehow suspected something was off and didn't offer $. In some cases they would charge you with solicitation, but most of the time they would either charge you with 'loitering for purposes of prostitution' initially or they would downgrade it later. All of the aforementioned charges were misdemeanors. And, if you caught wind of detectives hanging out in the parking lot or a police presence, you could just drive away. I'm not sure how many times I could have gone down if not for doing that. The point is they needed to at least attempt to engage you to try to get you to trip up. And if you were adept, you could find a way to slip through their net. I did many years ago. The thing now is that I'm not even sure they're going to try to engage you on site. These hotel stings are going to be like bust factories. When you pull in, the decoys will say "what are you driving? Or something like that, and that's it. They really don't need anything else. You're also going to need to make bail for a Class I felony. Doubtful you'll be released on personal recognizance. So, basically what I'm saying with these replies is that we've got to figure out some new tactics if staying in this hobby.

I'm just north of NC and the providers here are less than worthless. I bounce to gboro, 45-55 minutes ride time but it's worth it. AND then showing up at the hotel parking lot, or withdrawing $ from an ATM is enough to convict you of solicitation in NC. You never have to come into face to face contact with a decoy. This is now the only state that works this way. Here's my suggestions to help G,W,A, & O (or any other lawyer that doesn't intend to just roll over) defend you if you aren't quitting this hobby: 1. No self snitching. Never answer any questions, anything. Identify yourself and say "I would like to call my attorney and not answer any other questions". 2. Respond only to ads that also mention regular straight massages too, and never ask for specific services by name (that's what this forum is for). Assuming you have a rockstar attorney, they are going to advocate that the prosecutor's intent is bullshit. "despite the long list of illegal services offered by the provider in the ad, my client was going to select the swedish massage option, because he had such a stressful day. " Or make it a habit of asking "Do you do swedish massage" on text while booking, as a cover. If they immediately reply with I only do BJ's, Sex etc via text. This is a cop. Any provider would rather massage you than blow you, if given the choice. Once you're there you can feel out the situation.
