For those in the know, we know the place isn't in Westwood and it did close. What the guys in the know, may not know, is it already reopened with a New Owner, no name yet, no ad yet, but a phone number. Menu was not as open as previous place, but a cute MT. Standard basic services and rates.

There was a recent AMP ad that was using Westwood as a reference but is located by Washington st / Norwood hospital area.

I don't understand why this changed either. I know this is not a site where users are doing financial transactions, but it still makes me question what's going on.

My guess is that this website doesn't support HTTPS due to difficulthy in finding a trusted certificate authority to issue the required SSL / TLS certificate. Certificate authorities generally require some information about the ownership of the website. If I owned this site, I would be very cautious about providing that information to anyone.

I can't recall a time when this website had HTTPS enabled, so lack of support for HTTPS isn't a recent development. HTTPS would be nice, but that isn't the only potential privacy concern.

When you first connect to a website using HTTPS, your browser has to look up the website's IP address by sending a DNS request with the domain name (for example, www.usasexguide.nl). Most users have their browser configured to use a DNS server operated by their Internet service provider. This could allow the Internet provider to identify the sites you're visiting. HTTPS would only prevent them from seeing what you're doing after you've established the HTTPS connection. There are encrypted versions of DNS that would prevent this, but not every Internet provider supports them.

That's why I use the Tor browser to connect to this site. All of the data is encrypted and anonymized, so I don't need this site to support HTTPS to ensure my privacy.

A major factor for me posting here in recent times is the lack of HTTPS. I am even somewhat concerned about the security of posting this reply. I cannot help but wonder (has it been discussed elsewhere?) why the admins have not restored encryption. My apologies if this comment violates a rule, but this is the single most important issue with this forum, IMHO (and I understand tech).

OK, so I was a bit bored tonight and have been a bit discouraged about the quality of this board, especially compared to another site I've been following (unfortunately it has almost nothing for the Boston area). There was a post here a few months back basically stating it was counter-productive to share info on good providers since they would quickly be driven out, or busted by Uncle LEO. Since then I've noticed the number of good reviews seemed to decline. I get excited when I see there's a new post here, often to be disappointed that the post is basically useless.

Just for amusement, I decided to categorize the last 100 posts into one of the following: 1) review of a provider or establishment: 2) other useful information, but not really a review: 3) no useful info obtained from the post; and 4) asking for information. Ideally, this board would be filled with #1 and #2 and have very few #3 or #4.

Results for the last 100 posts are:

17 - reviews providing useful information.

33 - other posts having useful info, but aren't really a review.

31 - no real information or value in reading it.

19 - asking for information.

So exactly half the posts have value, the other half don't. Very few actual reviews. Take it for what it's worth.

Let's try to help each other more. We're all in this together. Yes, writing a good review will give that place more business (possibly too much) but it will also direct traffic away from shitty places and force them to improve or go under. Letting us know which places to stay away from is just as helpful.

I personally suspect its the constant influx of new mongers from college kids who don't have game with the college girls, I've gotten numerous dms from dudes who would rather hit it with a definite FS than worry about getting in trouble for having sex in their dorm or apt. I understand the caution from young bloods. Its a different time now, and providers are cautious to come to a high count of young college boys. Granted they have the money but they don't have the demeanor to treat some providers with respect, which is why most providers say no to people under 30. They don't want to be jackhammered by a 18-20 yr old who is just learning how to fuck.

FYI, was told by one of the girls that Westwood will be closing at the end of the month and moving to H20.
