Hi Guys.

If any of you have had a sugar baby before on a monthly allownace, what is the normal time of the month you pay them. So, in other words are you paying them at the end of the month, middlle of the month, or up front? Reason why I ask is that my current SB wants a monthly allowance and I am scared if there is a fight or dispute, and pay her all in 1 shot, I have no leverage. Again, just wondering what is the norm? Also, what do you think is a reasonable monthly allowance for a 7. 5-8 looking girl in LA?

Assuming you plan to meet at least once a week, then I usually try and start on a weekly allowance, before converting to monthly. It's a bit of a hassle, but keeps the risks lower, and makes it more obvious that there is accountability. But it also gives you both a chance to build trust. Then when it's time to convert to monthly, I prefer to pay on the 15th.

Your concerns are valid though. I've only been ghosted once, by a SB I paid monthly up front, and after 3 months she stopped communicating, the day after the 3rd payment. Lesson learned.

It started with guys like Baldy finding amateurs through Craigslist by posting ads and waiting for replies. It was more like fishing because you had no idea how effective your post would be and who would respond. I put out an ad once and got a reply from a 19-20 yo barista who would turn heads anywhere she went. The type of girl you'd expect to see with a star athlete in school. I have a habit of fucking up my best opportunities so I never made the drive to Ventura (she said I could pick her up the street from her families beach house) and I regret it to this day. She would have wanted no more than $200. This was around 2011. If I got a reply from a girl like that so easily I can't imagine the gems that the other guys were pulling.

Lots of success and many painful misses but the memories will last a lifetime. For the vast majority, Seeking has run its course and the Golden Days are long gone. During Covid it was still ok, as girls wanted to find a few regulars and not jump around as much. But, like I said in a prior post, you must adapt in the Los Angeles market. For me, that includes getting gals from the Korean escort agencies, going to Hong Kong Club in Tijuana (yes its 3 hours plus but worth it especially if you get on the Amtrak). These relationships have always existed and will always be out there. What seeking did was increase the efficiency of finding a like-minded match. I mean, think about it. I like many in the sugar bowl have a SO. How in the world would I (safely) approach a girl to find out if she were interested in an arrangement? The lovely of the website brought girls in who might not have thought of it as an alternative. Reduced the barrier to entry (for guys too). New technologies affect people's behavior. We then got the negatives of the internet. Lots of fake people on there with ulterior motives, and all sorts of misinformation that makes things more challenging.

I think that someone could make a site similar to seeking that is much better. It isn't me, I don't have the capital or the tech chops.
