These relationships have always existed and will always be out there. What seeking did was increase the efficiency of finding a like-minded match. I mean, think about it. I like many in the sugar bowl have a SO. How in the world would I (safely) approach a girl to find out if she were interested in an arrangement? The lovely of the website brought girls in who might not have thought of it as an alternative. Reduced the barrier to entry (for guys too). New technologies affect people's behavior. We then got the negatives of the internet. Lots of fake people on there with ulterior motives, and all sorts of misinformation that makes things more challenging.

I think that someone could make a site similar to seeking that is much better. It isn't me, I don't have the capital or the tech chops.

What is happening in the sugar world. It helped get me through some bad times in my life.

On the other hand I had some of my best meets in the last year or so. A 22 year old ad a 25 year old. Didn't last long though.

So what is going to happen? Is it just going to get harder and harder forever?

For fun, I started reading this thread (and others in the LA section) from the very first page, and boy oh boy, you sons of bitches had fun. It was really something else to go back in time. It also seemed as if the women back then were more pleasant. I stumbled upon a legend on some other thread and the women in his pictures were always smiling and happy, like they were having the time of their lives; his name was Baldy. Agreed, it has also become a cespool for fake profiles, scammers, catfishes, more than ever. I have been on it 2 weeks after a 1 year hiatus, and out of many profiles only 3 real girls and 2 were GPS wanting over $1 k, and another just looking for dinner dates only. Have encountered about 40 fake profiles though.

Another fake / scammer profile. When I asked for a video chat, she replied maybe tomorrow and then ghosted afterward. Usually, when they reply maybe, it's a scammer profile.

I noticed that too when I went to renew. Could not find a code. Ended up not renewing because I buy, and have, 90 dollar gift cards especially for this purpose so I don't have to use my real credit card which I'd never do. Now I have a few 90 dollar gift cards and no seeking. Which is fine because I needed a break. I have an OC baby I'm doing. She's not a supermodel but she's adequate, the right price, and acquiescent to my preferences. She'll do for now.

True. There are not many real profiles and fake / scammers keep creating new profiles making us think there are. I'm taking a break after my membership expires.
