Posts: 60I agree. I felt the same about the experience. And the under the door was spot on. Sad.

Posts: 229To be fair, United and Gunderson spa were two of the longest standing spas before they closed, and United only closed because the land it was on closed.

I admit, I made a trip there, and it took about 5 minutes for me to realize it was time to leave because of all of the mongers wandering around the place and trying to get in. And the neighbors were watching and were well aware of what was going on.

These suburban places and spas that open up in wealthy areas always puzzle me. Why would you have a spa in Norridge / portage park / Jefferson park? These are some of the most conservative areas in the city filled with city workers. The ironic thing is city workers make up the bulk of clients. I don't know if you remember but about 8 years ago there was a major police bust that was championed by the aldermen all the way down in Beverly / Mt Greenwood. There are no spas or apartments in that area so why would he care? Because the majority of his ward were visiting spas city wide and bored angry housewives stuck in the kids while hubby is off getting handys were complaining to him LOL. There's a reason why the most successful places are in ethnic enclaves. Nobody cares really. They aren't immune to LEO. But it's less visible than being in lake view or state street.

A lot of reviews of her in the Norridge thread. I feel so much safer now. It is shocking to me that this is a concern. I understand that residents will be concerned when an apartment sets up in a residential neighborhood, but Saani is on a strip of nondescript businessmen.

Posts: 972Nadig: Prostitution alleged at Gunnison-Nagle area spa on Chicago's NW Side
I was reviewing the latest prostitution bust of a 64 year old Mongolia lady (along with violating the massage parlor act, which is a new angle) on the CPD web site and this article popped up when I searched on the address. I have to admit that $50 for a blow job is a pretty good deal given that one of our friends at the place on Michigan complained to me about getting gagged out by her previous customer for $120 on top of the $80 house fee. I'm just not close enough to take advantage of that hot papasan action.

A 64-year-old worker at a massage parlor at 6338 W. Gunnison St. Was arrested after she allegedly tried to perform oral sex on an undercover officer for $50 at about 12:35 pm Friday, Dec. 6, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
The establishment, which was identified by police as Saani Spa, was issued numerous citations in connection with the incident, according to police.
The officer reportedly was offered a 30-minute massage for $50 or 60 minutes for $70, and a 66-year-old worker started the massage but was replaced by the other worker, police said. The officer gave a predetermined signal to the enforcement team to enter the spa after the second worker allegedly was about to initiate a sex act, police said.
The following citations were issued: operating a massage establishment without the regulated (therapist) business license (two counts), operating under unsanitary conditions, illegal activity allowed within a licensed business, failure to post price list for prospective customers to see, improper touching, failure to post city license number on advertisement and failure to display license.
Also, failure to meet the record keeping requirements, failure to provide customers with mandated written notice of state law, failure to maintain clear glass without coverings, failure to keep clean linens, towels and other materials used to massage in closed cabinets, employment of non-licensed therapists, failure to maintain list of therapists who perform services and allowing a non-licensed massage therapist perform massage therapy and to be seen in massage room when a patron is present, police said.

Look at post 35462 in the massage. This is what sparked the CPD conversations currently being talked about. There was another post but I believe that is the one Admin removed that had the links to the girls you posted. If you look at the location of the girls arrested it gives a Canal address which is Earth.

Posts: 1261This happened within the last 48 hours. I thought about posting it there but this thread is more comprehensive unless you're suggesting this bust has already been discussed which I don't see.

Posts: 162Update: the account who tweeted that has now retracted it. So probably the info on an alleged bust was false or had very wrong details. Carry on.

The building in the video is not the one on Parnell.

The fellow in trouble on Parnell made an in-kind contribution of food for a political event. His occupation is listed as "investor. "

Posts: 972Cross referencing political contributions by a person with that name, it looks like he was running an apartment on the 3800 block of South Parnell. Said person apparently owns a restaurant in Chinatown Square. The place on Parnell is called Prince Spa on RM, but I've never seen any signs of activity when I've scoped it out over the years. AKA #1 VIP Spa. #osint.

I know nothing more. Unfortunately the tweet doesn't like to a story, though there is a pic.
Anyone know?
