When I first visited Asian Ivy, I think it was $40-$45 for HHR. My third time, rates had gone up to $55 IIRC. I usually match door on tip. So, when the OTD cost hit $110, the pricing was in the range of independent and (for me) better providers. The price wasn't the main reason I stopped going to AMPs vs. Other / indie providers, but it was definitely a factor.

The language barrier at AMPs can be a minor PITA but I used Google Translate and it was okay. Never shorted on time. Always a lot of changeover with the providers so it's not really possible to recommend someone, or to depend on them being there next time. The rooms have actual walls, I never ran into anyone else waiting or had to wait myself. I went to 1-2 other AMPs total and the girls at AI were pretty average, in good shape but definitely middle-age or older.

I don't think I'll ever go back to an AMP because there's just better options with people who understand exactly what you say you prefer. But I never had a bad time at Asian Ivy, it seems like a pretty well run spa.

I've been once. Had a nice, but older Asian provider. Standard AMP with a mamasan. Decent massage, tip on the flip and then out the door. No frills, but it gets the job done. Less than $ for a half hour massage. I prefer independent providers which is why I haven't been back.

This location has 2 parlors with 2 sets of different ladies. The upper one is facing K'zoo. The lower got to by taking a driveway on the right side of the building to the back of the building and its entryway. I saw Kassie at the lower level and she told me all about it. Lower level is very nice. Lights, music, clean and chair. Kassie was very personable and so small talk was good. Got comfortable and she came in, stripped down to a thong. Nice body. I gave more than $. 4 so maybe it would be different for less. Average massage but decent HE. Didn't ask about more, seeing it was the 1st time meeting her. The parking is a concern bc so little of it in the back. Some might not go for that.

Decided to try out Healing Hands for the first time this week. Must have got a discount for the hhr, because the wallet was not as flat when leaving, but it was a decent visit. Massage was very below average, with hardly any oil was used. But if Kay decided to, it would definitely at the least be a 5/10 massage. I opted for a CBJ. I know the previous reviews pointed out how Coco was very teethy. I can't say the same for Kay. Total damage was a Jackson north of a century. YMMV, I did not inquire for a further menu.

Saw Kay last week during a walk-in at Healing Hands. Though the typical AMP massage is really just low level teasing, it's nice to be able to walk in with no strings and limited expectations attached. Mamsan started the massage but Kay tapped in about 10 minutes in. She's mid-30's, attractive, Korean with good English skills. Massage skills are 5/10 and I'd describe her as friendly but reserved. Anyway, "formal" teasing started and then when I turned over, she asked what we were doing. I asked her to go down on me, and she was a little hesitant. When I asked why, she said, "I'll be right back". I assume she checked with Mamasan to make sure it was Kosher. She came back, slipped on a cover and gave a very good performance. I typically have a very difficult time finishing with a CBJ, but it had been a couple of weeks and I was definitely primed. So, it was good that it was covered, otherwise it would have been more like waterboarding (she was actually laughing a bit when she came up for air because of the sheer volume). Seen her quite a while back few times just forgot to post. Went by Lisa. She's legit and beautiful but to each their own. Pics must be from last summer tho because I've seen her around town and at Gun Lake few times recently and she's put on quite a few pounds. Worked at parlor off or around Plainfield I think. Door was 70/ hr, she's nice and friendly but do not be rude or come at her the wrong way she can have a temper! On the flip be Generous to her with tipping and you'll be rewarded nicely.
