Oh, yes, when looking at it from a purely "what do I get paid hourly" kind of perspective, then there's very little worth waiting for / spending time on. These are all excellent options for saving some cash and applying it elsewhere, but the intangibles are time and trouble. I have to deal with a flight there and back, airport bullshit, and a hotel. Even if I do it all in a day trip, that's four hours of fucking around airports, dealing with LA traffic, etc. My time is worth more than the $3-400 I'd save.

I'd go that route when I have business in LA, but I'm not going there just to fuck a couple of hookers and save some cash.
