It actually makes me want to bang her again and discuss Japanese curry recipes. I just made some last night. I slice my onions and saute it first so it melts into the curry. Chuck was used and I like to salt and pepper it 30 minutes before I sear it. Japanese purple sweet potatoes are a game changer. I also throw a tablespoon of ketchup in at the end to give it some brightness.
