LE convention in the BP lot at 16th & Tibbs. 4 squad cars, 2 of them unmarked, and a paddy wagon. They all were just standing around talking. Don't know if they were waiting on something or if their business was already taken care of and suspect (s) were already in the wagon.

Following the useful answers regarding Tracfone, has anyone used the Tracfone sim card? Recently upgraded my phone, am considering using the old phone with a Tracfone sim card.

I imagine you can check whatever phone you're wanting to use on their website for compatibility.

Tracfone used to operate exclusively on Verizon's CDMA network so, I think, only an unlocked Verizon phone or Tracfone phone would work. I haven't checked in a long time and most of the small carriers have become multi-network operators so I'd imagine Chelli is right. To be sure, I'd definitely check on their website. I have gone there the last three years. I absolutely love it. I also enjoy Soi 4.

My burner phone just died after 8 - 9 years. When I bought it, I bought a trac Phone because it was readily available and, if you activated it properly, it was completely anonymous. No names, addresses, contracts, etc. I only had to re-load the minutes periodically.

Is Trac still my best option or is there a better way to go. It has been a while since I bought so I thought I would seek advice.

Verify the app does not list your calls with your cell phone provider. MANY (7 - 10) years ago I reviewed burner apps for the iphone. One of the apps would list your phone calls with your billing (received billing in the mail back then).

This might not be a concern with electronic bill payment and said app might have changed this, presuming it is still in service.

Too long ago to remember the name of the burner app.

I have 2 different apps I use for free. Use fake emails to sign up, they don't make you verify, and get to pick your number. The only thing you can't do, is get the verify numbers when you sign up for some sites. TextFree and TextNow.
