Is it just me or is this hobby just becoming to hard to indulge in around this area anymore? It just seems like it's been the same selection for the past few years (and not really the greatest). UTR seems almost impossible to find around here as well.

It's the economy. There’s enough jobs for chicks to make $$ without having to resort to the hobby.
