Only focus on one pussy at a time.

We all want to spend too much when things feel good, but it always feels better when you go less often. You feel every stroke more, your loads are more satisfying. Go less often. You have to accept an occasional loss, there's no need to play catch up when that happens. This isn't gambling. Wait until you need it again instead. Focus on your career and life that your urges pulled you away from. That's what pays for this hobby. Then over time and effort you'll find that balance. Don't lose it when you do.

Alternative is to sign up for a Google Voice number and use the Google Voice app to text / call from that other number.

Google will rat on you at a moment's notice. They cooperate with Uncle LEO all the time, no warrant needed.

Tracfone is the way to go. Buy a cheap Tracfone with cash, along with a refill card with cash.

Haw anyone used another sim card or similar in a unlocked phone to switch numbers without having to get another physical phone?

The simplest approach is a burner app. Second would be if you have a phone with two sim trays and use one tray for the burner sim card. Couple that with a reliable VPN or VOIP service and you should be golden. Look, the truth is that we peons aren't worth the effort and resource to keep tabs on for the most part. Having a burner phone or app with VPN / VOIP is good SOP to abide by anyways.
