I have run into several elaborate ruses that I cannot figure out. Some have been profiles of 40+ women, but still attractive. As a geezer, these offer some appeal to me.

One went through a lot of messaging on the site, but then complained she couldn't text me off the site because she had no minutes on her phone. Of course, she wanted me to PayPal it to her. She was (allegedly) close to me, so I suggested meeting at a nearby Sbux and I would hand her the cash. She 'verified' who she was by sending (on seeking) a photo of her passport, currently valid. No shit. So I went to the appointed spot at the appointed time. Crickets of course. Then the location on her profile changed to something in the New York area.

Another one was doing quite extensive and erudite messaging w / me on seeking. I asked to communicate off the site and she gave me her email. Via email we set a M&G at a coffee place close to her (alleged) location. Today, again, crickets. I cannot figure out the angle of this one. No $ was requested. I will say the AI they were using to write responses was top-notch. I would have bet I was conversing w / a highly educated and mature woman.
