Sadly, being reckless caused Bus Stop Girl's premature death at age 39. News reports relate that shortly after 5:00 in the morning (when it was still dark), she stepped out from behind a bus and tried to cross a highway on foot without using a crosswalk. She was then accidentally hit by a car, and pronounced dead at a medical center.

I was walking on Kalakaua and notice a beautiful young asian girl standing on the corner of lewers. When we locked eyes she immediately walked over and asked what I was doing tonight and if I needed some company. Not 100% sure I invited her for a drink. Then she said that she offered a different type of company. We were surrounded by people passing by so I acted like I didn't know what she meant. Then an older middle age white lady explained what the younger Asian girl was providing. I told them I didn't have a location and they offered a incall. Something felt off so I told them maybe later and asked for their number. They mentioned leaving in the morning and told me to message when ready. I've lived in Waikiki for 2 months and never had this type of approach. Is this the norm or did I avoid a police sting?

Interesting, I went to see a provider early last week at the courtyard off of lewers. It was an early morning appt I think 4 am. I parked off of lewers on Manukai and walked around the corner to the hotel. As I was waiting downstairs for the provider 2 women matching your description crossed the street coming from kalakaua heading towards ala wai on lewers. The provider never answered the call and I ended up leaving. I remember thinking I should've asked the 2 wahines if they provided as they looked like they did LOL. Of course, can't guarantee these were the same women but one was a cute Asian the other white. The white woman looked older and thicker it was hard to make out being that early and they were wearing black tops and black miniskirt.

Just an observation but on the same street just a block away early morning looking like they were heading home for the night.

Good to be cautious when "something felt off". Might want to check the police arrest log for that night to see if there were arrests of other men in Waikiki for prostitution-related offenses. If it was some sort of sting using a "young" and "beautiful" girl, it probably would have resulted in the arrests of some less-cautious men.

I remember BSG talking about her younger cousin who provided when she was younger and just starting in town. I cannot confirm this info, but it was what BSG said. I vaguely remember she said HSV and something else.

When she was on the corner of Keeaumoku / Makaloa (by the bus stop) she would gather plenty of drive-by interest. She seemed to be very reckless, showing signs of drug use / mental health issues, IMO; your recollection of this experience is not unusual or unbelievable. Don't get me wrong-she was not a troublemaker, but just uninhibited due to whatevers.

By the way, while downtown this past weekend, several times I observed a slender woman who (at least from a distance) looked somewhat similar to a younger version of the now-deceased Bus Stop Girl. She was on the mauka side of South Kukui Street near the back of Longs, and in the Diamond Head-makai section of the Longs / Safeway parking lot. Sometimes she was walking, sometimes she was standing, and sometimes she was sitting. She had the relatively sleazy look of a potential provider, but as far as I could tell, she wasn't soliciting anyone or making eye contact with random men. I didn't try to approach her because she was always with one or more drug user type men whom she seemed to know. My best guess would be that currently she's a drug user who isn't yet publicly providing, but could become a provider in the future.

Don't get yourself into trouble by doing a direct retaliation. If you have any regular that you see often, just tell them. They girls don't like the robbers because it causes a bad name for them on the street. You let enough of them know they will do their own version. Also, since most of Hawai'I is word of mouth, they loose clients and never get repeat service. I forgot which girl, but there was one way back who didn't understand why we stopped dating her. Kept saying it was the 'other' girl.

Currently, I don't know sufficient details about what may have happened and what the monger may be planning to do, so it's difficult to try to offer advice. However, I can at least understand the desire for some form of retaliation as justice. Psychologically, it may not be only about the loss of money itself, but also about the anger at being victimized and humiliated. (For example, I remember a post years ago where a monger reported a street provider was laughing at him as her boyfriend robbed him.) Plus, if no concrete action is ever taken against people who rip off mongers, then there's not much incentive for them to stop ripping off mongers. Note that the monger claimed the robbers "have been robbing people for quite a while".

Yet on the other hand, a monger should carefully consider what could happen to him if he commits an illegal act in retribution, such as arrest, incarceration and publicity. A monger should also seriously consider what could happen if the robbers have a pimp who decides to go after him. Finally, a monger should consider what could happen if after taking revenge the monger is seen anywhere by the robbers when they're accompanied by one or more potentially violent men..

I don't really see any need for retaliation or justice when at its core this is still a word of mouth business. The best providers have consistently stellar reputations, and there is no shortage of men looking for someone to give their money to. A woman may rob five or ten customers in a new location before people figure out who she is and what she's about, but that plan is amazingly short sighted compared to the options given to someone consistently providing good service. Some of the higher end clients can be very meticulous in their research before even seeing a girl, and I know many who won't even bother seeing a woman if she doesn't have enough reviews. Its such a silly way to shoot yourself in the foot.

Retaliation for Robbery

Those are good points, including (so far) the absence of any reply to the various questions and comments. That's why I used language in my earlier post such as "may have happened," "may be planning to do," and "claimed".

I must also say that, with all due respect, the account who posted that comment about the SW's "robbing people for a while" only has one post, which is the post he used to comment the SW's are robbing and that he's planning retaliation. Just objectively it looks a little suspicious that this account is not a long-term member of this community and instead it seems like that account was made specifically to make that one comment.

These are the exact same two women that have been robbing people for quite a while. I reported abou that specific chick before. She robbed me of 1. 5 in the parking garage across from longs where her and her friend stands. I haven't forgotten and I have been watching them for what I have planned so please don't be around and you've been warned.

I understand you might have gotten fleeced out of some money but the fact that you've been watching them and planning "something" kind of tells me they might have been right to cut their losses and run away. You only lost 1.5, that's nothing. It's a very small amount of money to lose to learn a lesson about those girls, I think trying to do anything further is going way overboard.
