I spoke with her mother today. We have been texting back and forth ever since I drove Abbie down to the hospital in Annapolis so she could get treatment for her infected leg and get clean this past Christmas. She passed due to heart failure because of an enlarged heart this past Friday 8/23. It hurts my soul to hear of her passing. She had so much ahead of her. This picture is from February of this year. Really does make me reconsider my choices. Addiction is a terrible mental disease.

Never good news when one passes. Seemed like a cut above. Unfortunately it's part of the game we play. Always have to consider how much you're going to put into these gals knowing any moment it could all be gone.
