Stage fees are a thing of the past in CA. But they're a part of clubs almost everywhere else. It's simply the consequence of the change in CA law years back.

Management can never take a cut of tips obviously, just wouldn't happen. But they will ask for tip out. To staff including DJ. A few girls will think not to tip but those girls won't get cut any slack and it will more likely than not hurt them later. Now if you need to tip out, you will be negative on tips. I could list examples of what I saw but this is pretty much the norm now at most clubs. It wasn't really a thing decades ago.

That said since they are classified as employees, they will get paid minimum wage. Here's the thing though at any Kim club your first room goes towards minimum wage (making your quota), meaning the fact that your first room is "for free". Since you get paid the same whether you made the first dance or not. This is the really weird hesitation girls have about their first room because if they don't get tipped by the customer for it they did the room for free. Purely psychological though because it is a losing attitude to think you will only get one room that night even though that is going to happen occasionally. Sometimes there just aren't any customers for a day or more girls than customers, some girl is going to be short. But I've seen it all too much.

Once a girl gets her first room and especially after some tip, she feels like everything becomes normal again. All her next rooms pay her, even if she only gets half. Since she gets full tip. This system is super-incentivizing to extras! Some girls get 30%-40% of the room fees they rake in (if you can't figure the easy math out here I can't help you) but 100% of tips. Meaning a $280 room is worth the same to a girl (on average) as a $100 tip. But the first room is worth even less (subsequent rooms are worth a little more).

Here's where it gets brutal. There may be a standoff where girls are really looking for their first room but only if they can confirm the guy will tip (which can lead to some sassy attitude when I'm just trying to feel out a girl while she is trying to talk money). But management will cut a girl if she doesn't make quota enough times. Making quota means covering your own minimum wage.

I knew the exact numbers at Kim's clubs and I knew girls who worked SR and Synn, SR was a bit of the old system still but it sounds like they keep adopting Kim club rules. So a while back on IG there were waves of girls leaving SR due to them transitioning more to the cutthroat rules of Kim clubs like Synn. SR were the holdout with a hybrid of the old system but it was always a matter of time. Probably happening to SR elsewhere too since I know some girls that hop SR locations. I always remember when Porcelean first hopped over from SR Rialto to COI she was a bit apprehensive about all the Asians at COI (compared to Rialto). But now she understand she has fans everywhere. Assuming you're just a regular dude and not a creep, the VIP duos usually go like this –.
