I'd say donuts or no donuts most people don't actually think of monger activity. The ones who think about monger activity seeing would-be mongers are those who are well aware of it or mongers themselves or nosey neighbors.

Most people go about their business and especially nowadays with everyone glued to their phone waiting for their ride, their food, their laundry, their package, etc. Unless they are aware of mongers no ones first guess is going to be "this guy is coming to fuck a prostitute in my apartment building".
