I too read Rubmaps as a nonsubscriber as I thought it was a good way to get an idea about a place and providers. I got pretty good at using the Advanced Search to get details about the age, cup-size, tip amount, extras etc. Or so I thought. Then I noticed that a place was getting a new review everyday and I got suspicious. This place is in Charlottesville, as I lived sort of close to there. (I have now moved back to NOVA after 14 years away.) The local board talked very little about the place but RM had tons of reviews, so I checked out the reviewers and this is what I found.

This is pasted from an earlier post on the Charlottesville Massage thread:

So I have been cross referencing with Rubmaps and since late April there have been a ton of reviews virtually everyday in June and July. I don't give any shit for spa reviews written by a new or non-premium member. I been noticed that it's their first and the last review in most of the cases. Check IDs out on Rubmaps, then you'll find lots of places having fake reviews from these fake review generators.
