I've been a defender of SecretBenefits on this board as I've had a decent amount of luck on SB. The response rate is super-low, but I get (enough) gems to keep me on the site. Of course, it's frustrating that most of the girls won't reply, no matter what. I even started offering absolutely absurd amounts (like $2-3 k), just to see if I could get a reply from some of the non-responders. . . Zilch.

I happened to create a 2nd account on SB recently. The new account has no pics and no credits, so I can't send messages yet.

For profile text on the new account, I lifted flowery text from a girls profile and make slight modifications so it's coming from a man.

The new profile is getting loads of unsolicited messages from all the girls that are ignoring messages from my main profile !!!!

So, one or more of the following must be true:

1. I'm butt-ugly in my main profile pics (unlikely).

2. My profile text / messaging sucks (works fine on SA).

3. These girls have no interest in an actual in-person arrangement (this is my suspicion, but I want to test this theory).

4. SB creates (or pays) girls to send opening messages, to get guys to spend credits. I'm not this cynical, but it's certainly possible. I think this would be proven if few/none of the girls respond to my response.

I'm tempted to:

1. leave new profile unchanged (no pics).

2. buy some credits on the new profile.

3. message these girls back with a generic "Hi, what are you looking for?"

The purpose of this exercise would be to validate that in fact, they're all just pic sellers and there's not some inherent problem with my old profile / messaging.

Your thoughts / suggestions are appreciated, especially regarding:

1. What message I should send as an opener to sus them out.
