Saw this place driving by on Smokey Row Rd in Powell and thought I would check it out. Don't even bother, they are primarily a foot massage shop. They do body massage but no oil and leave your clothes on. Had to at least check it out, seen too many supposed "foot" massage places that do way more. At least it only cost me a few minutes of my time to find out and no $.

I went last weekend. Greeted in the front by a younger girl with glasses, unfortunately she was not the one that did my massage. I lay face down no towel as usual. When she came in she placed the still folded towel on my ass, and there it stayed until the flip. The massage was bland, very ordinary. The only massaging on my ass was done overtop of the towel. About 30 minutes in I heard the door open and a man talking in Chinese to the girls. Zero teasing, on the flip, covered me right up with the towel and started massaging head, arms, feet, and legs. I managed to get junior out of the towel by the time she got to my feet, but she covered it back up fairly quickly before finishing up sayin "sorry". As I was leaving my masseuse and one other girl, not the one with the glasses, were sitting up front. They said sorry, the boss was there today but I should come back tomorrow. I can't say if they mean they could not give extras with the boss there or just apologizing in general for the extra activity with the boss there. I tried to get the girls name before I left but could not understand what exactly she was saying, after a few tires I gave up.

Most are still doing an hour for $. 6, some are now charging $. 65, and still fewer have gone to $. 7. But let's face it, how long have these places been sitting at $. 6 for an hour? With the way prices for everything have gone up it only makes sense the rates would need to increase as I imagine the operating expenses, especially their rents, have gone up the last few years. The more that go up, the more the others will follow I am sure.

Feels like this is happening everywhere lately, the 45 min for $50 there was what I always did it was a pretty good value. Is there anywhere that still does 1 hr for 60 at this point?

Posts: 96Sweet Smile on Georgesville and Long on Rt 161.
Both places were somewhat disappointing. Of course YMMV on both but I think sharing information is helpful to others.
1) A couple of days ago, I went to Sweet Smile on Georgesville Rd. Which I gather is new. Went to try it out for a half hour. I had the younger of the two. She said she was the Manager. I was fully covered the whole time. No teasing, no roaming, no nothing. Massage was descent but I look forward to the extras - $10/ tip and I won't be back.
2) Yesterday. Long on Rt. 161 near Sawmill. They wanted $30 for the table shower so I tried it. The water had a real funky smell to it. The shower was nothing special. Massage with no teasing or anything followed. When close to 'time-up' she said $20 for extra time. I frowned at her and said no thanks and got up to dress. I think she realized a 'no tip' coming so she asked me to lay back down and jack-hammered me. The massage was barely 'ok' the up-sell at the start and at the end was a big turnoff not to mention a $30 table shower. Tip was $30. I usually give $40+ but I just didn't feel the service / effort was there. To many negatives for me to consider going back. It was so much better when the place was named 'Hong' like 4 or 5 years ago.

Went to Wilson rd AMP after months of not going to any. 60 for hr plus 20 for table shower which was awful. Gave her 100 and never got my 20 back, decent massage very little tease otf it was otc roaming and DIY. Pressured for a tip after she insisted she gave me my 20 but never did so I gave her another 20 just to shut her up LOL. NOT going back I was getting HE there all the time before.

You put it in perspective nicely.
When Eastern Lily shut down they actually changed the address to the current RL address on Brewster. If you look on Rmaps they have Eastern Lily listed in Powell though I'm sure they never operated under that name only RL.
I do wonder where they'll pop up. There was a posting about a year ago listing about 10 new AMPs that opened in 2023 and there's probably another 5 since that post.
I actually don't recall more that a couple closing in the past year.

I know her personally as well as professionally and although sometimes it takes a while to respond ghosting does not sound like her. I know she travels outside the country and has clients outside of Columbus, but she always responds. What date was this? I wouldn't give up. She's a fun time.

Posts: 451Most AMPs around here don't offer FS. You need the apartment Asians for that.

Posts: 332Speaking of 2018, who can forget the plethora of AMPs out there on Hilliard Rome Rd during that time? The one changed names a few times in real short order, too. It was in a plaza, almost across from a daycare type place. Man those were the good days.

You don't see AMPs in certain locations because of their zoning rules. Some, like Pickerington require all providers to be Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT). Others, like Dublin and Worthington have no additional restrictions outside of the State laws. Others, like Columbus, have their own licensing requirement for both the massage establishments and the providers that include background checks and inspections. Also, keep in mind that any place that does not use an LMT providing medical massage (therapy) is considered an adult oriented business with further zoning restrictions. Most HE AMPs get shut down for zoning violations or pressure on landlords.

Maybe I'm just going to places that don't offer more than a HJ. I've been looking on STG and have been contacting the Asian providers there and they ask me my race and when I say black they always stop messaging me immediately. I guess I just haven't been going to other places long enough to get FS. I don't have an issue chatting the women up and making small talk. Like I said, I do get HJ and they'll give me hugs and a little smack on the ass and maybe a little kiss on the cheek or forehead, so I think they like me fine enough. I'm just wondering if I'm just going to a place that just doesn't do FS and why they stop answering when I tell them I'm black. What are the places around Columbus that you know of that offer FS, if you don't mind answering?

In the case of superb, it was probably the landlord either ended their lease or refused to renew based on illegal activity. Not every landlord has interest in leasing to a business that is doing anything illegal for fear of their own financial loss in caseany legal actions. Or they just did not like the lease terms anymore and wanted a better deal and / or location.
