I gave it to him he scanned it into his system without asking.

I asked him what did he just do He said they keep a record.

Crazy I would never allowed him to do that.

Unfortunately, the Midway bar is not open.

I'll be coming to one of my favorite cities for fun activities and I was wondering if the Midway has reopened as itself or as another bar? It was always my favorite bar and my "home" club on the block. (I'd go to a couple of clubs on the block and come back to the Midway and have a regular drink or two before heading back out to visit other clubs.

Anyway I saw that Jimmie had closed the Midway last time I was there and was wondering if he had reopened it or if he had sold it to someone else who opened it as either a strip club or as a "regular" bar? I'll be visiting in mid October and would like to make plans for my visit.

Hadn't been down the Block since Covid so decided to see how much it had changed. Got there around 5 pm. Figured I'd check all the clubs to see what looked best. Indulge looked promising and figured that would be the place to come back to, but when I went in Oasis I saw a cute black spinner that I just had to see. Just a few dancers and a couple customers. I ordered a bottled water and was surprised it was only $5 instead of the usual $7 it used to be. Music was playing but no dancers on stage. A few minutes went by and the cute spinner came and sat next to me. The bartender put a small drink in front of her and left, not asking if I wanted to buy her a drink. We sat and talked for 30 minutes and not once did the bartender come back and see how we were doing and if I wanted to buy her a drink. I asked her when she would dance next and she said any time, since the stage was empty. She said she very seldom gets naked unless it's worth her while. Not sure how may girls get naked now on stage. A sign at the door said 'Topless Tuesdays' like that was a big deal. I told her my meter would be running out soon so I would have to leave soon. She said she could dance on the stage, or she could give me a private dance where we were sitting. I asked how much and she said 3 songs for $25. That sounded like a good deal so I put $25 on the bar and turned my bar stool to face her. She proceeded to to do a bump and grind in my lap while I held on. After 3 songs she said she'd do two more dances for $15, but I really had to go before my meter ran out. It was a very nice change not having a bartender coming by every few minutes asking if I wanted to buy her a drink, and if not chasing the girl away. Maybe the night shift is different. I would like to see more naked girls dancing, but all in all I had a good time and will definitely be returning and seeing her again.

The night shift parking lot is a disaster waiting to happen to you.

With no one in charge or managing parking in the cramped parking space.

While I was there the other night saw three accidents in the parking lot.

Mgmt does nothing about managing the parking on site sad but true.

And couldn't really understand what you meant by she wouldn't reciprocate in that content (meaning "access everywhere" but she was resistant seeming contradictory to me).

I was in your neck of the woods yesterday and decided to check out the strip mall on Baltimore Street. Last time I was there was pre-Covid and had lots of fun at the red room.

I read some posts on the board and decided to stop at indulge first. All white, half were decent the other half was trailer trash but that may not be a bad thing. Place is a shithole. No A / C, dirty etc. Greeted by a blk female bartender who started out friendly and got pissy real quick. Then, I was greeted by a skinny white dancer who gave me the lay of the land. HJ was available in lapdance area and full menu in VIP. I tried to talk to a pretty tatted up girl who has been around the block, She was one of the better looking ones. $25 just to sit down and talk was a no-go for me. But she did tell me lapdance - $115 to the house and $60-100 to her. That got me 30 mins or VIP room was $230 to the house and $100+ to her depending on the menu. I would have stayed but the bartender got snappy with me when I declined the $25 drink, just to talk. She said how do you think she makes her money. I said in the back like every strip club in america. I ask her about the poor SAP making minimum wage at McDonalds. If the cashier charged $5 just to take her order, would she pay or go somewhere else and then I left.

Next was club pussycat. It was dead. 3 blk dancers, all looked bored. Same with the club right next to it.

The I went to chez and bottoms up or whatever the club name is next to it. The doorman said they were owned by the same person. All blk dancers and all sizes. My final destination was the bottoms up next to chez. Friendly large blk lady was the bar maid and very nice. She called someone from the back and asked me to buy a $25 drink but when I declined she still sat down and talked. I talked to several girls and all were friendly. The one who caught my eye was a dark chocolate dancer with nice ass and NG titties with large nipples but overall decent. She gave me a hug and grabbed my junk and told me I was going to have a good time. Pulled the kitty for some touchy touchy. I was hooked. I bought her a drink, on my own accord, as I continued to get a lapdance at the bar. I did buy two drinks and the bartender told me she would not charge me if I went to the VIP. Probably because I already spent $50 on some watered down drinks. I accepted and had a ball in the VIP for about 30 mins. I asked the dancer what was the damage and she said, whatever I felt she was worth which was the best answer of the day. Tipped her well enough she asked for my number.

I would have stayed at the Indulge and spent plenty of money if the bartender had a better attitude. I am not spending $25 on someone who may or may not have a good attitude. Let me clarify, the dancers at indulge were cool and very friendly, it was the management that ruined the mood.

My mistake I forgot that drinks on the block were $25; I personally bring $40 because I mentioned when you're not tipping the dancers during the drink they quickly consume it then the bartender comes around to ask if you want another and if you don't pay, they essentially "take" the girl.

As for bartenders, go to Indulge day shift after 3pm on Thursdays and Sundays. That's when Rob works the bar and he's very chill, especially if you're tipping him 10-20 while there. Otherwise you have Scott (or dancers he has running the bar) who are pushy and downright a PITA to deal with.

New owners? It's been the same owners for years. I talk to them all the time when I'm there.

My understanding is that a woman bought it several years back and started all the renovations we see today. I don't remember what year exactly.

Good luck. I've tried many of times. She's a great person indeed. For all the times I've tried. Normally any extras are after hours and outsode of the place. New owners really have cracked down but have definitely brought the place into a better establishment.
