Crime statistics can be misleading. Historically, the clubs and massage parlors and their patrons have avoided a lot of the violent crime issues that plague those communities. There have been sporadic instances where club patrons have been targeted. Over a decade ago there was a group targeting patrons of Dollies, Blondies, and Chameleon Club in WP. It was a pretty hairy deal for a bit. One guy actually got killed in Dollies' parking lot. A member or two of this board got jumped in the parking lots of Dollies and Blondies. There were several guys robbed in the parking lot across Kingshighway from the Chameleon Club when the club was forced to stop using the south end of C-Mowes parking lot. I don't really recall hearing about guys running into trouble while going to the Centreville massage parlors. I bring the bad stuff up, because it is good to remember shit can go sideways quick in these areas. Years ago I posted about how I had a great time fucking one of the girls at the Chameleon Club only to be brought back crashing to hard reality when I exited the club and got escorted across the street to my car by who I assumed where on duty plain clothes officers. They were middle aged and one had on a sports coat so I was pretty sure they were thugs. So, my point there are definitely risks and at times those risks can increase. At the same time, the biggest risks in those communities are among the residents and people coming into the communities for things other than adult entertainment.

I don't generally report on most of my visits to the Centreville parlors because they are usually pretty routine, nothing that special, but they get the job done. I've never had any concerns about my security day or night at the parlors. The last time I was at Fuji Super Spa it was just getting dark and as I walking out to my car an elderly gentleman probably at least in his 70's was walking towards the door slowly with a cane. I'm pretty sure he had a fun time.

I guess I get Centreville and Washington Park mixed up sometimes, but both are totally safe. The AMPs are VERY safe. All lit up, private parking, and you know they've all got some badass armed Rambo hiding in some back room. . The clubs, yeah, shit can happen. Some Cardinals players got into it there a few years ago. But, again, carry yourself, don't be a dumb drunk hick, and you have nothing to worry about.

Calla is getting greedy. I was there for half hour massage a few months ago. They tried getting $50 more out of me after a ho hum standard HJ. Gave $40 and left. Have not been back since. Do not reward mediocre service with a big tip.

As someone who traveled to WP often in the '80's thru early 2000's, to the strip clubs ONLY (I tried Above the Garter back in the mid 80's). I was always cautious about my surroundings either during daylight and especially at night.

As an older / wiser mid aged man now, I've no desire to visit WP, Brooklyn or Centerville. The "strip club" world is NOTHING like it was 20+ yrs ago, it's pathetic now (from reading this forum alone) . My reply to the remark - "Wash Park is 99/9% safe anytime" . I wouldn't go that far. We're all entitled to an opinion. The municipalities I mentioned are the poorest of the poor.

You bumpkins and your irrational fear are always good for a chuckle. Tokyo and Wash Park is 99.9% safe anytime. As with anywhere, don't fuck with anyone, and they won't fuck with you.

Some advice regarding the "area".

It's pretty safe until 830 pm. (Too hot to be out right now LOL) and even after that it's not that bad since I don't think any of the surrounding clubs are operating. Just be smart and don't cruise down any side streets (If you get unlucky and meet a cop at the roundabout take the exit before Tokyo and head down that road until you get to the gas station at the far end, pull into it and turn around to head back, the cops don't generally care and they know what goes on there but I find it better safe than sorry). Depending on where you are starting from you can cruise pretty much right up to the parlors.

If coming from Millstadt the road goes right before the turn from the Cahokia side, in my opinion, this is the "safest" way.

If coming from Belleville go around the Lady of the Snow's shrine, it empties you out right there without having to pass through anywhere "shady".

The third safest is to hop off the highway by Cahokia and go in, you'll pass a lot of car lots that provide good lighting to see what's around. (Plus on your way back you can get some White Castle!

I use the third way most often since it's quicker for me to shoot up the highway and exit off through Cahokia, but I also never go later than like, 7 pm.

The area borders the shady parts, but I feel it's safe. Definitely safe in the daytime. The spa has a parking lot with a wooden privacy fence around it.

I think if you know a specific girl, you can phone in for an appointment. I just walked in off the street and I was set up with no issues.

Just my opinion, $70 for a handy from an older Asian lady is contribution to the hobby inflation. This is a standard $40 tip. Outside of a few exceptions, we know the AMPs on the STL side of the river are only Jack Shacks. There's no upside for us to overpay.
