To reinforce what headhunter says. Play safe. I personally don't play without a helmet. Some are the opposite and can't play if there is a helmet. To each their own.

For the longevity of this hobby, IMO, it's best to be safe than sorry.

Most AMP offer wipes to clean up after the session. I'm not a doctor or a medical professional but if you decide to abandon any safety equipment, I've heard it's good practice to go pee asap. Not sure if it actually helps and probably not going to stop you from picking up a disease.

This hobby is like riding a motorcycle. Take all the precautions you can, but know that accidents can happen. If you can't accept the risks, don't do it. And yes, I ride a motorcycle too. There is another massage place in Nogales, Mexico to consider. It is called Bliss Massage and it is on the north side of Campillo next to a barber shop just before you get to C. B. Juarez. It's $40 for an hour and tips can be whatever you negotiate.
