I will take Chu Ari and Peony over Cici any day just based on age and looks. Sorry, Cici is great but is pushing 50 or already there. Not my cup of tea.

True, Cici is on the older side, and not what anyone would call beautiful, but she is absolutely one of the best service queens you will ever encounter in this business. Her skills, her endurance and her desire to please are really off the chart. Yes, she is making up for her lack of looks. But that's great. That's what she should do. And she does it amazingly well!

As for parking in DTLA, I've recommended this approach before: Make your appointments Monday through Friday between 4 pm and 6 pm. That's when the street meters open up. Before 4 pm, they are all full with business people. After 6 pm, they are full with residents. But if you go in that sweet spot between 4 and 6, you will nearly always find open metered parking on the street as the neighborhood transitions from business to residential parking. It's only one or two dollars — way cheaper than nearby parking lots. Another tip: Bring quarters to pay the meter, instead of using your credit card. Leave no paper trail.

Yeah all reports of peony are that she's a total TOAS and has poor service and a very poor attitude to top it off.

I always hear about how great cici and sugar are but dtla sucks so I've never seen them.

Two or three blocks east of Cici's place there is paid parking and you can get a spot for $10. The last time I saw her, I got sick of paying to park so I arrived about an hour early and drove around the area, and luckily found a spot Where someone paid for parking on the street but they left early so I swooped in and used the remainder of the meter. I got lucky that time. LOL.

My go to used to be Thermae in Bangkok. Picked up Yoona from snsd look-alike. Iykyk.

Sorry to stay off topic, but Yoona was my first k pop crush! I would've loved to see her look-alike. I used to visit Thailand a lot from 2010-2015 or so, but didn't go to thermae then. Finally checked it out in 2018-19 and went there almost every night while in Bangkok. It's a fun experience, much different than the gogo bars and fishbowls.

Ya Thermae is predominantly for East Asian mongers (not just Japanese). As a Korean monger, definitely a fun place to check out. Girls there also love going out to eat at the Koreatown plaza lmao.

I promise you I have spent more time in BKK than you. I stay on the soi 12 when I'm there. I have seen Koreans make the rounds at Thermae and lose. I've watched Koreans walk down that street in Silom with all the Japanese only hookers sitting outside.

If you aren't Japanese you aren't getting play. From a few maybe but the rest look up from their phones, see you aren't Japanese and look down again.

Thermae is great especially if you to a hotel near soi 11. I would down down to nana plaza to check it out, if I didn't like it I would make a quick pitstop at thermae on the way to soi cowboy.
