I wouldn't carry that much cash anyway, just 1 k max for emergencies and rest are just ATM or credit card use. Most places I can just apple pay now (except in Korea because they are samsung-racists). If you have cash, full body scanners will pick it up on the scanner and you'll subject to another wand-scan I guess but they shouldn't care that you are carrying cash anyway. I always though if I say "it's money to buy pussies" will I be ok... in countries that's legal maybe but within USA? Idk if the TSA agents will give me shit.

I bank with a regional bank that isn't available except in the DC area and south. Not in the north, west, etc. Even if they were everywhere, ATM withdrawal daily limits are $500. I think I can call them to temporarily raise it to 2 k or something, but they wouldn't give me unlimited withdrawals in case I need to go gamble.

Markers require you to talk to the casino, open a line of credit. I don't know what it entails, but since I don't always gamble $10 k each time I'm in Vegas, I probably don't even qualify. I think you can also have your bank wire money to them, but again, hassle when I can just carry the cash. I don't keep it in my wallet LOL, it's in an envelope in my carryon.

There are no limits to how much cash you are allowed to carry domestically. For international flights, they want you to declare if you are carrying $10,000+, failure to do so could result in TSA confiscating the cash. I hear it's possible to get it back but you would need to lawyer up. I have traveled internationally with $6000 in $100 bills. It's a pain to put so many bills in a wallet.

I fly about every other month (business and pleasure). CLEAR rocks. It gets me in front of the TSA-PRE line. I go to JFK terminal 4 even when I'm not flying out of Terminal 4 for the Amex lounge. I'm past security in less than 10 minutes. The Amex lounge rocks. The Chase Reserve lounge is pretty kick ass as well. Speaking about Korea, my favorite flying experience is business class on Korean Air. They have a bar at the back of the second floor of the A380. All Korean Air FAs are cute. You also get a free transfer to the Grand Hyatt Incheon after you land for access to their spa.

Clear has been busted for me in DC. The line has been as long or longer than regular TSA Precheck. Not sure why. LGA doesn't even have Clear yet.
