I don't even think stings are the biggest problem now. The biggest worry I see is the leverage shifting entirely to the providers in this situation. Imagine if a girl steals from you. If you catch her, she can just call the cops instead of having to give you back what she stole. Imagine if you encounter one of the psychos that we bump into from time to time in this hobby who gets pissed off because you asked for a deal. Instead of going off on you, she tells you to meet in her hotel parking lot. You're waiting for the room # and the cops pull up to question you. You're facing a FELONY, and she likely walks away. Why wouldn't she hand over all her text messages? You are a Human trafficker and she's just a poor victim.

The nuttiest thing about this is creating felons out of people that were probably productive members of society. Felons have a hard time getting jobs, and they usually get fired while facing the prosecution. They can't get or keep vocational licenses and certifications. What about a sugar daddy arrangement that ends before the woman wants it to end? Is she going to threaten you with this? Yikes.

LOL! Yeah, I think if I can get through the summer, then I lose the need to want to cheat around. I truly think it's the short shorts and the skin that these ladies show. Hell, even when they don't show that much skin, it seems like women are a lot more attractive in the summertime for some reason. Now that it seems like the law is going to start really cracking down on the professional ladies and Johns that see them, having a little extra fries on the side might be the only way to have a little variety. House Bill 971 now makes soliciting a prostitute a Class I Felony for a 1st time offender (previously it was a Class 1 Misdemeanor). It is still a Class H Felony for a 2nd or subsequent offense.

HB971 signed by Cooper. First offense is no longer Misd, now is a Felony like in Texas. Goes in effect this December. Would expect an uptick in stings and such as LEO now has a bigger charge to levy. Research what happened in Texas.
