I was just in Boston (this also happened in Az.), and I was dialing for escorts and was contacted by 2 different types of scams, the first scam was the "Cartel" telling me that I had wasted his girls time and owed him $6 k. Then I received a text with all my family's info (emails etc.) with bloody pics of supposed guys that "wasted his girls time". Immediately googled it and found it to be a scam, same words verbatim to what this scumbag was trying to do. I got his Venmo account number to send the cash and told him, now I got you, I will be reporting this to the FBI. The next text I got was sorry for bothering you. Then a day later the same asshole calls me and I him to go fuck himself that we played the game already.

The second scam, they mask their number with the local police number and tell you they are a cop and the girl you contacted was 17 and that you have an arrest warrant out for your arrest, but you can handle it all over the phone if you pay a fine. Googled this also and verbatim the Spanish guy on the phone told me his name was john Sullivan with a heavy Spanish accent.

Don't fall for this shit guys. It sounds simple but it's a little jarring to the senses at first.
