Just want to give everybody a heads up. Of course new laws went into effect 7/1. This pertains to North Carolina as of now but I'm sure it will be making it's way down to good old VA in a couple of years. In NC johns can now be charged with a felony for Solicitation of Prostitution. It used to be a misdemeanor like it is here. But they are about to start cracking down on this stuff. Just be careful and if you are going to another state take time to learn the laws in that state. I for 1 was a frequent North Carolina customer just because Roanoke and most of VA was dead. But now even I have to rethink my options. Keep your eyes open my friends and if you know any helpful info pass it along let's use this forum like we are supposed to.

Thank you very much Tagger for posting this info. I didn't realize states were changing the charge to a felony. Very important information! I work in NC often now I know either not play or to be much more careful!! I would guess now that its a felony more officers will try to setup to catch more guys to help their stats.

Fellas don't waste your time on this one. I set up a meetup. She was at Quality Inn at the Roanoke Airport. The whole time I was traveling to meet, she was worrying me to death with txt msgs. I get to the room, and she tells me she has to leave, we can't do anything.

Granted, my travels have just recently started taking me to Roanoke on a regular basis-but while things seem bad in Roanoke, at least IMHO you guys have it better than a large number of places.
