HB 197 new law and escorts

So a statement. This fall Florida will legalize recreational marijuana. Thus, making legal to be intoxicated from drinking and then bake yourself and get out on the road and kill someone. So, double the chance. While law enforcement goes after escorts and AMP's who do no harm to society in general. The "hobby" is beneficial in many ways health wise as it brings down stress, allows a connection even for a moment, exercise / activity to name a few.

The state should legalize this hobby, collect tax, have a health plan / screening for the girls that participate. No one ever died from having sex and driving. (well at the same time).

11 arrest, all spa workers from 10 different spas.

All in their late 40's or 50's.

Guess Naples truly is a retirement city.

I believe that's where the ***** that introduced the bill HB 197 got elected from.

I'm surprised its legal for them to arrest the workers for their violations. They didn't catch them in act of prostitution, just violated the new law. It seems like per the law, they have the right to issue a violation and close down, but not arrest. Do 't they also have right to conform in X amount of days before lose license, or is law 1 and done.

Would they have arrested next door lady at salon if she didn't have a license, and site her and close shop. What's the difference? Was there anyone with the health dept, whose jurisdiction it it to review and not police. Yes, I know its election year primary this month, and final in November.

Any monger lawyers out there to chirp in.

Pretty sure they were shut down for ID violation.

So if you look at this link it shows what they were arrested for. All ID violations. First offense is second degree misdemeanor. Says zero about record keeping charges.

    https://winknews.com/2024/07/31/11-a...e-parlor-bust/

The bill states all employees on site must have and be able to present 1 of 6 forms of acceptable I'd. Alien Registration Receipt (Green Card), Employment Authorization Card, US State Driver License, US State ID, United States Passport, Naturalization Certificate from DOH. No doubt they were all unable to comply.

Now with respect to what LEO is saying about the records not being verified with ID's, it's probably a scare tactic but is in no way relevant to what they were arrested for based on the charges.

The bill clearly defines "The establishment must CONFIRM the identification of the client or patient before any service or treatment is provided to the client or patient. " Words matter in law and the definitional of CONFIRM is "establish the truth or correctness of something previously believed, suspected or to be the case". Had they used the word "VERIFY" different story. Furthermore, It does not say by what means they MUST go about confirming. The bill makes 2 suggestions of acceptable practices for confirming. Again, words matter in the law. The word "MAY" implies a request or suggestion. Had they used the word "MUST", different story.

    1. Medical records MAY satisfy this requirement if the records include the specified information.

    2. A copy of the client's or patient's photo identification MAY be used.

Anything regarding session logs with client information could be successfully litigated in court as the language in the bill form CONFIRMING is ambiguous and subjective so I seriously doubt the DOH will make that their primary focus when the low hanging fruit is I'd compliance.

I realize none of this shit matters when they barge in at 8:30 am when mongers are trying to be first client of the morning but that's my 2 cents.

Drive by scan the parking lot and be safe.

SW possible serial killer indicted for 2 murders

I think you all talked about this before but I just saw this article so wanted to share. They're stating this guy killed 2 SW's that he picked up from 7-11 on Econ Trail, doesn't state the cross street. I'll post the link and in case that doesn't work I'll copy and paste the article below too.

    https://www.orlandosentinel.com/2024...orange-county/

A 'potential serial killer' arrested for strangling two women to death in Orange County was indicted for murder Wednesday, according to a press release from State Attorney Andrew Bain's office.

Carlos Baez Nieves, 25, was indicted by a grand jury on two counts of first-degree murder in the killings of Fatia Flowers, 44, in March and Nichole Daniels, 41, in April.

He also was charged with two counts of tampering with physical evidence in a capital proceeding and driving with a suspended license. His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday and his trial is set to start in September.

In a press conference after Baez Nieves' April arrest, Orange County Sheriff John Mina said he had the makings of a "potential serial killer. " The FBI considers serial murder "the unlawful killing of two or more victims by the same offender (s), in separate events. ".

Police say Baez Nieves, on separate occasions, paid each woman for sex before strangling them and dumping their naked bodies on the side of the road near the intersection of Trevarton and Harrell roads in east Orlando.

He picked up both women from a 7-Eleven on Econlockhatchee Trail. Through witnesses, surveillance video and license plate readers, police were able to track him down. He was ultimately arrested April 26 while driving with a suspended license.

Orange County deputies questioned Baez Nieves about Daniels' death after his arrest. He initially said he dropped her off alive at another location, but after police confronted him with evidence he eventually said he accidentally strangled her in an argument because he believed she'd stolen money from his wallet.

When asked about Flowers' killing in March, he told police he accidentally strangled her while choking her during sex.

Okay, so you got to show proof of age by giving out your I'd to a shady site and the states board of Ed is backed by this law?

Will the schools at least sit down with the kids and talk to them about sex? I'm sure this red swing state, that is not likely, especially with the "Do not say gay" law.

    Seminole County Cracking Down

Be advised that Seminole County arrested 7 mongers last night. All first timers. Be safe Brothers. Cheers! SMF1234.

Yeah, Seminole SO seems to be trying to keep up with Polk these days. Reading the court cases, they're doing stings in the Altamonte area almost weekly, so that's on my no-fly zone for a while. It sucks since they could be using those resources for the real crimes that are happening, but apparently the SCSO is taking a bust-everyone-and-let-the-courts-sort-it-out-later approach right now.

Definitely have noticed the decline this year on the east side. I made a recent review mentioning this.

I remember first starting out 3 years ago and having plenty of options of providers over here on colonial, UCF, Altamonte, Winter Park.

But ever since late last year if I want a decent provider I got to plan out a night going to I-drive and / or Kissimmee! I don't mind the airport area too much because it can be an easy 15-20 minutes for me but barely any providers go over there anymore. If they do it's for like 2-3 nights then they runoff to I-drive!

Truly miss it when I can hit up someone and be there in 10 or so minutes on colonial, get the deal done, then go home and get ready for work. But now it's a whole adventure you got to plan out.

Oh well for now, stay safe.

    Kuro.
