Thanks for the heads up. Another big red flag was only one pic and no profile description. I have learnt that 99% of these are scammers as they cannot take couple of minutes to write about themselves.

Not even a day passes after telling someone to avoid sending money upfront before meeting--and my dumbass just ignored my own goddamn advice. That's the problem with thinking with the little head instead of the bigger one above shoulders. Lesson learned, and I hope this serves as a warning to everyone!

At some point in the convo, it all felt too good to be true, particularly after she asked for an advance via CashApp. So I asked for a pic of her holding up three fingers. She obliged, and she looked as advertised. Against my better judgment, I sent the 30. We then made tentative plans to meet next week for 300 PPM.

After more dirty talk & pics, she then asked for another 10! I shot back that 30 was already a compromise & that I normally never send a penny without meeting in-person. While she pleaded for that extra 10, I received an alert from CashApp saying it had refunded my 30 due to suspicious activity with the recipient. Immediately, I blocked her on all platforms then shook my head in disbelief. I really just fucking fell for that nonsense like a total noob. How could I have been such a careless dupe?

So again, do not send an advance of any kind until you've at least met in-person. And no, video calls do not count. You probably shouldn't send any money until you're both in the FC anyway, but I get that some will disagree. Also, big shoutout to CashApp for that lightning-quick refund & looking out for me. God knows I didn't deserve it!

I'll have to humbly disagree. I have a few go to spots, where I like to meet, feel these women out, and if over an $60-$80 dinner, its a no go, then move on. I usually get there early, so if its a complete catfish situation, you can bail, and just let the waitress know. Like I said I have a good system, but who really wants to meet at Starbucks??

That's great that you have a system that works for you. Personally, shelling out $60 - $80 seems excessive for a first meet. It's not that I can't afford it. But as another member pointed out earlier, some women just want a free meal with zero intention of going through a future arrangement. I don't run a charity. Just like most women don't offer play without pay, they've got to realize that it works both ways. I won't supplement their lifestyle without getting something in return. And contrary to what they (or anyone else) says, a SB's time is not more valuable than mine. If they really believe that, then they need to stop using the line "mutually beneficial. ".

Hence why Starbucks (or some other similar coffee joint) has worked well for me thus far. I also make it more convenient by offering to meet at the closest one to their place. This not only makes it easier for them to say yes, but it also increases the chances of heading back to their place instead of mine. Coffee isn't that expensive, and you will have gotten the chance to see if they truly look like their pictures, can carry a decent conversation, and easily negotiate the arrangement. Also, there's no concern about leaving if the situation calls for it (no wait staff nor bill to pay, after all).

In hindsight, I can see how my earlier response came across as harsh, and I apologize. It's not my intent to make you feel like you can't share your experiences. My only issue is when guys come to these forums, toot their horn about how awesome they are in the hobby, then ask a bunch of questions without offering much intel in return. I won't say the user's name here who first comes to mind, but I think most seniors know who I'm talking about (allegedly frequents SBs in New York, claims most women should be paying him, and conveniently leaves out links or any useful intel more often than not).

When I first started out here, I made sure to share the good, the bad, and the ugly in detailed reports (sometimes excessively so). Started out with the various Asian agencies, visited a few massage parlors, avoided the streetwalking scene, dabbled in the odd strip club or two, and then finally stumbled my way into the Seeking game. Like I mentioned before, there were some women whom I chose not to report on simply because I wanted a repeat performance or keep them sorta UTR. Everyone does that, and it's understandable.

But if someone writes about those great experiences the majority of the time with minimal useful details, then that gets old quick. Hence why you see reports here of SBs who ask too much, ghost, or try to run a scam. We're trying to save each other's time and money by avoiding duds. And on the rare occasion, it could save you from getting jumped & mugged (like what happened a couple years back when some random ***** at a World Market in Reston got some guy friends to help her rob johns in parking lots). So feel free to share whatever you're comfortable with, including the bad experiences. If you're 100% positive that you're done seeing a SB, write about it here or in a PM.

If you really want to help people, give the link to profile on the sugar site, or take a screenshot of it and post it, and then give comments on the girl and what happened to you. Especially, the ones that can be discarded are very helpful to know about. And I am not in DC, I am not even on that coast, but I read sugar threads broadly. I would not benefit from anything you say, but the other readers of this board would.
