Traveled to C Ave yesterday because I hear it's a popular tourist attraction. Was pretty dead on the south end so I decided to head north and participate in the north marathon. There were several participants at. I mean in the marathon. I even saw Anna, who I would love to meet. Also saw a younger marathoner with dyed hair. Orangish I think. I'm sure the color is to help cars see her while she is participating.

Anyway, they both had trainers with them staying close by. I circled the course several time to see if they would separate but no luck. I even had a bottle of water to give tk the weary marathon participants just in case. I even got desperate and drove the infamous marathon back alley in hope I could become a corporate sponsor to a marathoner.

I get a little nervous doing scoops anywhere near the county line so I didn't stop and try to do any scooping. The younger marathoner looked fresh to the course and when I passed by, her trainer looked at me with competitive glares. Anna was with a younger trainer, not the older gentleman down by the Richmond. So because they were running too close to the border (Henrico) and the young trainers with game faces on, I decided not to scoop. I did end up probably driving 26.2 miles when all was said and done.

Maybe they will bring the race a little more south today. We will see! Best of luck in the race to all of you!
