Got a random hello on my Telegram today. I don't use it often, but I just so happened to be using it with the last scam person. The person claimed to be someone I met on seeking but didn't identify a username. She then asked for my name and I told her "Peter Nincompoop," to which she sent a brief video clip that showed a woman brushing back her hair with her hands and saying "Hello Peter, is your name really Nincompoop?" The video seemed authentic and the lip movements aligned with the speech, but the voice felt almost robotic and didn't pronounce Peter correctly. I don't think the video was AI itself but perhaps they've got some sort of technology that can adapt phrases to pre-recorded videos?
Anyway, pretty striking stuff.

Fake / scam. Convincing at first. When I asked her to send a picture of her somewhere in public in the area (so I could confirm from the background that she was indeed in the area), she sent me a bad photoshop job of her in front of the Artisphere in Rosslyn saying she had just done a photo shoot there. The Artisphere's been closed for a decade.

This one's real, and hot but won't bang you until some type of connection has been made and needs at least two meetups before that'll happen. 500 ppm.

Agreed! Sometimes I just mess around with them to see how far it goes. Never send $ upfront, I have ubered 4-5 so far and that works well with no issues. Never send them an Uber gift card. The ones that don't feel comfortable in an Uber and constantly say they have a car and will drive, you know are scammers. I even ask them to pick the closest spot to them and I'll meet there, that's when they just get frustrated.

This one wants to fly down from NYC.
Debating if I want to deal with setting up the logistics.

"She" blocked you because you probably asked the wrong question.

To meet. , but I offered an actual Uber pickup. No bueno, and then went on a rant when I said that I don't send $ to people I have never met.
I really wish people would stop sending money to theses scammers. They are not going to stop as long as they are getting paid.

Posts: 842I was not too keen to jump in here along with the fact that I don't lurk here as often nowadays, but this profile / pics looks of one who has several profiles with different locations across the region. She keeps creating new profiles. Will never meet but ask for help.

I'll give it a try and report what happens. Fairly new to the SD game so prepare for disappointment. Thank you for the response though.

So guessing its a dude probably posting his nieces info, but claims to have "been fed up" with not getting what she wants, having put out and not gotten paid. Spins a very convincing tale of wanting to start a charter fishing business out of DC. Red flag one. But needs "only 1500. " Then debates me on why guys like "you" cannot just find it in there hearts to loan her the 1500. Seriously, it was almost comedic. When I brought up PPM. It was like that's prostitution. Somehow, magically, SDs are banks giving out free money for bad, half baked business plans and wanting absolutely NOTHING in return LOL. Well, suggested a bank loan might be what ya need, though real banks are also trying to screw ya so. Good luck LOL.

Posts: 263The pics look filtered, not generated. Like, a real person and profile is in the pics and she used the snapchat or insta filters to make her look less like the worn-out 31 yr old tramp she is and more like the sprite 24-yr old we wish she was.
