Orlando does indeed have hostess bars, albeit I imagine they are different than what you experienced in Hawaii.

The hostess bars that we have here are hispanic and cater primarily to Mexican and Central American clientele.

The typical setup is you walk into a sports bar or billiards hall. There are bartenders working behind the bar, but there are hostesses mingling amongst the patrons.
