Bit of an aside, but where do you go to get tested every 2-3 weeks? Going to my doc that frequent to ask for a test is bound to get questions. I've also paid via private testing facilities, but those are a few hundred each time.

The STD clinics run by the county might help. Many are free and funded by taxes while others have very minimal and reasonable fees:

I would personally not get tested every 3 weeks, that's too often in my opinion. But it is especially important to get tested before a new partner or resuming sex with an existing partner. I like the public clinics because no one is going to judge you, everyone is there for STD testing. The doctors do nothing but that and have always been professional and helpful in my opinion. They can prescribe medication and give you free HIV testing, the ones I went to. Feel free to decline any test you don't want, HIV testing is not something you need as often as you need general STD testing. Note that if you need certain antibiotics like doxy that have to be injected in-person they do offer it of course. STD screening is all they do all day. Pill doxy is not bad, it is just 98% effective whereas the injection version is nearer to 100% for what it targets.

I like the clinics because everyone else there wants to stay anonymous too. The only disadvantage is since they are often free, they do not always run full M-F hours, and they might be a bit of a drive. There might also be a line if you don't show up early (if you show up right when they open, there's generally minimal wait)

You could go planned parenthood or even pay privately for it, I've tried both and wouldn't recommend it. Planned parenthood is 95% or more women. The staff were very professional but I don't like making women notice me when they are trying to get an abortion or free healthcare. However, there is no problem at all going and they are a wonderful resource in general.

Lastly, you can even go to urgent care. There are pros and cons but in my opinion it is still better than paying for private screening which is just adding a middleman where they send you some random clinic. Note that with urgent care, they also do injection doxy if you need it. Remember, antibiotics can make you nauseous for a day or two so do not take them without a valid reason (a positive test or a new partner after high risk lifestyle).

Planned parenthood or stdcheck.com. I recommend stdcheck if you're sneaking around a significant other they can provide you with a doc who writes prescription if you don't want to go to primary.

I always go to my doc. He's asked before and I just told him that I'm in an open relationship and I'm doing it for my partners protection.

Never had a problem & plus, its none of their fuckin business right? I'm not walking in there with gunshot wounds every 2-3 weeks LOL.

1- its for my safety because stds can cause long term issues if you don't treat it.

2- its for the safety of the girls because I ain't a POS.
