Due to sharing the same feelings as Uncle Teddy, I've completed some research. This language is very interesting and I'm wondering if this is a non issue if you are a "patient".

"The Bill will impact every office currently working under a massage establishment (ME) license and it goes into effect on July 1, 2024. If you do not have an ME license because you are exempt because you do not perform massage or you only perform massage on your patients, House Bill 197 will not impact you. ".

Patient is defined as any person presenting as a client to receive massage therapy per Fla. Admin. Code are. 64 B7-23.001. As far as I'm aware, we're all patients so I guess it would be depend on the license? I'd imagine times may be tough coming up, but that seems like a glaring loophole to me.

For the most part, the state will still rely on local agencies for enforcement. The culture in Pinellas is particularly permissive. There are SO many establishments in this county where you can get laid. I think it goes beyond a blind eye and there is probably some sort of law enforcement protection racket. Notice how most of the good shops and clubs are in Clearwater, Largo, unincorporated county or otherwise in the jurisdiction of the PCSO.
