The bottom line is it's a risk to see someone unless you get verification or they have some type of explicit video. With the advancement of AI they can create a fictious person. If a girl is at an expensive hotel and is new in town don't do it period!

What could they have done different to stay safe.

Don't talk $ over the phone / text. Unless it's in the ad that makes it tough to plan and weed out to expensive.

A LE check (grope) at the door before paying would help. Unless the girl initiates, I am always to polite and just place the $ on the dresser while I watch what she's doing. That could be a mistake.

I always make a lap around the parking lot looking for anything unusual. But I can see where that wouldn't be hard to beat.

Any better ideas?

If you read the law and I suggest all of you do. According to SC law once you make an agreement it's done. In some states you have to exchange money well it's not the case. It doesn't matter where you put the money in her hand on the dresser. If you agree by text, verbally, or any means your guilty. Another words just showing up your guilty. I had a friend who had to learn the hard way.

21st Ave? Was it at the Marriott? I agree with another poster. Use extreme caution with a new to town provider. Over the years the strings have been at nicer hotels where the doors are interior And they use ajoining rooms so the male officers can wait next door. Use tineye to try and verify pictures. A sweep around the lot is good. Getting there early to checkout action. Might not be a bad idea to have the girl come down to let you in. All could be avoiding having the girl come to you.

Never see a girl at the Marriot unless you have reviews of her and the pictures is explicit. They don't have these stings at ghetto hotels because management know it will hurt they business.
