I don't really have an expectation one way or the other. I can see some guys not liking having a timer set because they might feel like they are pressured to pop within the time and the fact alone throws them off. Doesn't bother me, I was just reporting the experience. I personally don't have a preference because I keep an eye on my own watch and if need be I finish the job myself prior to the time limit.
