Well this sums it up very well and quite accurately. Basically eating healthy (fruits, veggies, proteins, and carbs to a lesser degree) will ensure optimal health and performance! The diet is 85-90% plant based. Only 4-6 meals contain meat per week. Most meals are, veggies, greens, legumes, nuts, and rice, or whole grained items occasionally as well. Eliminated refined sugar (sugar is the leading cause of most health issues, functionality deterioration, and brain function issues). Stick with natural sweeteners like pure stevia (not the granular stevia, it's mostly Dextrose or Erythritol), honey and maple syrup. 100% organic foods. Practically eliminated dairy (use Olive Oil instead of butter), still eat real feta (from sheep\goat), parmesan and ricotta. Walk for an hour daily and an occasional bike ride or run.
