After mongering since 2002, I think the Kim Club model has ruined the strip club experience for me.

In combination with the CA employment rule change years ago making the girls employees, Kim models the payout so that tips are everything, however you can get them. The first room of the day is basically free since it meets the quota (it replaces the minimum employee pay they'd get and works out to be almost even, so really, the girl is doing your room for free if you are their first customer). Then the club takes their cut plus tips and costs. On a slow day a girl get back 1/4 what she earned the club. But she keeps all of every tip. And fucking is the easiest, most reliable way to get tips from the vast majority of customers. The cycle works its magic until almost every girl does this, and almost every customer expects it. It's actually one of the reasons I don't go to Synn much, because most of the time I just want a lap dance and to chat. But if I want to fuck, then yeah sure I go to Synn.

The payout system is why some girls are reluctant to even give you a room if they don't know you and the night just started. They'll negotiate on the floor first to make sure it's even worth going back. Kind of a mood killer compared to SR where the average girl is at least enthusiastic if nothing else.

That said, I know my type of girl and if we have a good connection of the floor, I've always had a great experience in the back. It's when you don't recognize a girl you know is good and are lowering your standards that the haggling and gamble happens. That's fine too, I don't go much anymore so it's fun in its own way to hunt for new girls as long as I am not dead set on getting anything. If I don't get the right feel on the floor with someone, I politely move on. If I have to, I switch clubs between SR and Synn.

Even though it's not common, there are still girls at Synn like Diamond who are chill, I never got GPS from her but a fun time at a reasonable tip. Meanwhile some of my old favorites have moved out of COI so I'm tempted to go DTLA instead just to see them. But COI is the main draw for meeting new girls.

My best experiences meeting new girls have always been when I just window shop and am prepared to leave if nothing good is there. I don't mind coming back months later, I've done this for years so I'm happy doing it this way. I have plenty of alternatives with kgirls for FS which is way easier. I spent 90% of my money on kgirls last year. But it's less variety and thrill, so I'll be in COI once again for the nostalgia of girl hunting. I mostly love em all, Asians, white girls, latinas, even half black girls if they're like Diamond. I'd rather tip the doorman who has been good, than the waitress who keeps forgetting my change. Going into Synn I buy a drink at the bar and carry it around so it doesn't happen. It happened twice in a row last year and I normally tip the waitress at all clubs, but not at Synn anymore.

The doormen at SR have always been pleasant and professional every time, thank you. Anyone who makes me feels welcome is part of my good time.

Just be up front and ask them. Every dancer in CoI has been asked about extras. They're not going to get offended. Just don't give off the vibe that you're a strip club noob or they're even more likely than normal to ask for outrageous amounts.

I don't have any personal experience with any of the dancers you asked about (other than lap dances with Cora) but I think a couple of them have shown up in previous reports. The search button is your friend.

I remember when $100 was standard tip at Synn. GPS took over Synn when SRI fired most of the crew, and they infected Synn. From there they spread to Kim's other clubs.

If you notice to there is less competition because Synn clubs own most of valley Blvd.

Eventually rhino is going to dry up like Deja vu & get bought out. The only competition for Synn is bliss & its for dancers who are in retirement.

While I was not a big fan DVCOI. It was the linchpin that keep prices in control in COI. Once the city forced it to go topless (and eventually out of business), prices started to skyrocket. Unlike DVCOI, the fate of SRI is still in the hands of the owner and management. The city is not trying to force them out of business. They need to drop their prices to get PL to come back. PL aren't going to want to pay $220 for $20 min in this economy. Not when they go across the street and get VIPs for $180 and get 10 extra min of top of that. Also, they need get rid of all these daily specials, and just limit it to one day with a killer special like $100 VIP.
