Posts: 844Blame it on Rio! (Who's Rio?)
HHal, you're getting a lot of advice here, and some of it's a bit vague with short statements like "pay all at once", but since I'm not shy about offering an opinion of my own, I'll toss out my 2 cents (warning, I tend to be a bit wordy):

Then she shushed you and took you to a room where she (I'm guessing) asked for the house fee of 80, but you handed her a Benjamin. Then problems ensued as you've already described. If that's about right, I have the following thoughts and observations that might help you avoid similar pitfalls going forward.
>> The girls do NOT like open conversations in the lobby. Unless they know you well and even then they don't want to hear a dollar figure aloud. At most, you can tell them how long you want to stay, then get to the massage room.
>> If your attendant does ask you how long you want to stay while still in the lobby, and then asks for the house fee, I recommend just saying something like this: "I'll pay EVERYTHING in the room." They don't usually fight you on this, but if they DO, then assure you have correct change. Getting change BACK from a Chinese provider or mamasan goes against their nature. That would mean money going from their hand to yours and they just aren't built that way. I think they break out in hives, or something, if they try to let money go that "wrong" direction. LOL!
>> Never use the words "Full Service", or anything suggestive, with a girl you've not met before. The conventional euphemism, that most all of them understand, would be for you to say exactly this: "I have 80 for the House Fee and 160 for EVERYTHING" ... and that only gets said, in a quiet voice, in the privacy of the massage room. That word "everything" translates to "full service". When saying that, I recommend you hold the money (tightly) in front of them and don't let go until you get agreement. If your girl is shifty, she'll try to grab it. Don't let that happen. I would venture to say that most of the regular guys here don't encounter shifty girls at these places and most guys won't get any pushback with this approach.
Finally, I will say that if you choose to avoid Spring Massage altogether, and their associated sister-locations, I doubt few regular customers here will mind, as that will only make room for the guys that continue to go there and don't have problems as you've described.

I'm sorry you got the feeling of being ripped off, but I think it just boils down to you not following the suggestions. At the places like Tokyo, Spring, and Gardenia you simply get in the room and hand them the total fee (standard is 240 for the hour), and if getting a second girl have the extra ready (+100 for a total of 340). By splitting it up, as a house fee and tip all you did was set yourself up for a headache. If you go to another place follow that guidance and don't risk making it more complicated.

In the future, just give the total 240 once in the room and none of this will occur. Don't split it up. Consider this a lesson learned.
PS: do the TS for their piece of mind. If you don't want TUMA just say so (not my thing). And no reason to call out the FS, as they know what's up at the big 3 and just getting 240 for the hour let's then know what you want. Keep it simple.

Posts: 128I understand that you were frustrated -- but I go to the spa's pretty often (1-3 x a week) and have never had an issue like this. In fact, my experience is often quite the opposite. That's why I was trying to suggest that the whole thing may have just been misunderstanding / miscommunication between the two of you.

I don't want to be repetitive, but for the purpose of this conversation I'll mention again that I don't live in Orlando, but get into town a few times a year, and have been doing so for a long time now. Like yourself, I read the forums to find the best girls and to understand the price and the etiquette. I briefly wrote about my "first time at Spring" a few days ago. I was met at the front desk, subsequently put in a room, and about two or three minutes later Grace came in an asked me how long I wanted. I smiled and told her an hour, made the appropriate donation and it was off the the races without a hitch. Had a really nice time too, beautiful girl, great service. In a word, uncomplicated.

Posts: 113If you don't appreciate my honest advice, then I suggest you go to Spring and ask for Grace and get ripped off also, pay for the full hour and only get a half, and get a lousy lay and no TUMA. Or else you can pay her $280 like she demanded of me. She said $100 was for the house (instead of $80 for the hour) and $180 was for full service with her, and when I refused she said you only get a half hour then.

Posts: 128I don't know man. IMHO This just doesn't sound malicious. It just sounds like you created some confusion at the beginning and she added some confusion in the process.

First visit to Aqua in Ocoee. Conveniently located in a small strip mall near Clarke Road and Hwy 50. Right off the 408. Plenty of anonymous parking.
Drew Roxie, a young and attractive Chinese woman whose command of English was much greater than that of the usual AMP provider. Paid the standard fare for the FS option (80 + 160) and waited for an opening at the table shower (TS). Special thanks to hobbyist Dr Willy who advised in a previous post to "always, Always, ALWAYS" use the table shower and then elaborated on his reasons why. As usual, Dr Willy was spot on.
The TS included some nuru gliding, BBBJ and TUMA. Then back to the room for the rest of the session. CG, 69 and some prostrate action followed. After release, Roxie gave a good massage for the remainder of my time.
Roxie asked how I had heard about them. I told her I had read the reviews. "Rubmaps?" she asked and I told her the reviews I read were in the USASG. It turns out that she is very knowledgeable about USASG and she is aware that the Massage Thread is a firehose of reviews and general information about the local AMP scene. She didn't ask if I was going to write a review or ask for any favoritism. I had a great time with Roxie and can recommend her in particular and Aqua in general. Just remember to use the TS. Doctor's orders.

Grace greeted me at the front desk. I told her I would like full service and would pay $240 for an hour full service, as I learned the rate from a friend.
By the number of your post you have been around here long enough to read about the big three or four. You know what's up. Pay the fee upfront and then go have fun.

If you knew that 1 hour was $240 and you had $240, why did you make the transaction complicated? These places are not difficult to deal with. You should have told her you wanted everything and an hour, given her the $240 and had a great time. I have never had any issues with any of the well recommended establishments. Just keep it simple and enjoy the visit.

Posts: 150Sorry to hear about that situation. Yes, that would be a total turn-off. So stupid of her too because men can't keep themselves away from a girl who treats them right and blows their mind.

Almost everyone there does want any kind of trouble. They know they are making all kinds of crazy money and not exactly legal so don't be afraid to ask for monies back. I have done it 3 or 4 times when I thought I was getting ripped off. Back in day, a girl was giving me a massage, but she was in and out of the room several times answering mongers at the door. I told her I wanted my money back, but she refused. I threatened to call the fuzz (bluffing) and she ran to the back and give me my money.

Posts: 113When I asked for the $240 session the woman was "quiet, don't talk so loud" "just go in the room and hush, don't want others to hear you. " Then in the room she took my $100 and I asked for the hour session and asked for $20 back. She played like dumb, took off with my $100 and never came back with the $20 change.

Total she wanted was $280. Avoid.

Went to Tokyo last week and Blue took care of me. Goodness that woman will not let you leave till you are satisfied. Such great service, overall beauty soft skin & even calls other girls in to flirt & "taste" for next visit. Can't wait to go back.
