Ever the wealth of AMP knowledge, thanks Cuz Louie! Had no idea that Woodbridge C / D made a change. Doesn't seem that long ago that they re-branded themselves Lusash. Maybe with new FS AMPs in Fairfield they felt a need to bail.

Speaking of changes: the new Sharonville AMP (see my report on Feb 27) continues to be closed. The STG link is still active but several mongers and I have passed by only to find the lights off and no one home. Not sure what's up with that.

I was in the area today and snapped a pic. Appeared to be closed at 5 pm on a Saturday.

Is definitely open. Was there yesterday. Not sure what is going on when you call because you get odd answers. I was told new girl was there and no one by that name was there. I also got another address of AMP to visit but it's like 3 hours north. I know others have got same answers.

Almost any of these busts are done to close the place down.

The ones where they have busted ladies for prostitution they had an LEO or paid informant get propositioned. They also look for tools and will use that.

Never heard them contacting customers or arresting customers. I doubt they have any customers in the place at the time of the raid go to the station. They might ask questions at the scene

Unless you are Robert Kraft LOL. They had video of him at the parlor that was illegally obtained so it was thrown out of court and all charges dropped. Of course this was after the arrest was made public. Waste of resources of the justice system.

Happened in for the first time in a couple months. Was inspired by a post on the Columbus board, of a delightful little Taiwanese girl named NeeNee (sp? That was another Chinese massage parlor filled with over-the-hill women. (Thanks, BDirect for the insight: Yes, it seems that the practice of the Chinese AMPs is to send women to the USA who are too old to compete in the domestic Chinese market.).

I've lived on the east side of Cincinnati since the early 1970's. No AMP will ever last for long over here, especially in the zone between Union Township and Mt. Washington. There are too many middle-age housewives with too much time on their hands. And they don't want to think of *their* husbands being tempted by loose women in close proximity.

Sunny Spa was located within a stone's throw of a Catholic elementary school. That was a bust waiting to happen. The Union Township police were probably getting calls from "concerned citizens" on the day it opened.

They after opening had been visited twice by Union Township Police I assume basically letting them know the police were aware of them. Yes too a stones throw away from a school and a church. And they weren't exactly discreet either. They were just begging to get busted.

These 4 ladies from Sunny have been locked up for 2 weeks now and from what I can tell they each have a $50,000 bond. They still have a week before their court date. I find this totally outrageous. It's hard for me to imagine these ladies returning to work there or anyone else working at an AMP offering extras. At least in Clermont County.

I use AMPs in Hamilton County on a weekly basis and am very grateful for the number of spas that have been operating without issues for a long time. I started using AMPs because I was tired going to sleezy notels and seeing pimps and dope boys hanging around. When I go to an AMP I feel safe and I know that when I open the door I'm not going to see a drugged out lady that I would regret ever seeing.

My reason for posting this is to call everyone's attention to what these ladies are up against. I look at these AMPs as a precious resource and have always treated the ladies with respect and tipped well. They left their homes and families to come to our country to try to live a better life but the fact is that things could go bad for these ladies at any time.

Let's hope things improve in the future and when the time comes: VOTE!

As an old-timer in this game, I've used AMPs in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana since the 1990's. In the 1990's, they were mostly run by Koreans; now they all seem to be Chinese.

They always locate in a strip mall, and they always get closed down within a matter of months. Some of you may remember the three spas that operated in Lawrenceburg from 2006 to 2008. They were located within sight of the Kroger on the main drag. They lasted two years, a record. I remember one that opened across from Tri-county Mall in the early 2000's. They were busted in less than a month.

Sorry this happened to the four ladies.

I can't help noting, though, that the women the Koreans sent over in the 1990's and 2000's were a lot more attractive. Once again, I'm sorry about what happened to the four Chinese women. But with the (possible) exception of the one on the far left, they all look old, or heavy, or both.

I've heard that the lady at the AMP in Amelia was 57. Are AMPs now a Chinese employment program for the elderly?

Hard pass for me on the AMPs of the current era. If they can't get me ladies in shape and under 30, I'm not interested.

I feel sorry for these 4 ladies too, they are so harmless, but in China the young girls get all the customers and the older one get left out, and I heard the Chinese men don't tip , the one on the left looks 20 , she is 42 years old.

I'm with Rufus firefly on this one, see his post below. I'll offer a few more things. Here's what happens if you're there when a RAID happens.

First of all there are normal bust times. Early morning when they open, or even up until 3 in afternoon. They do that so there's enough court staff at the police department or court clerk to book whoever they catch. There are exceptions to this rule, but that's a general trend. I have never seen or heard of a bust happening after 7 pm. At least not in Cincy.

Rufus is right, they're there for 1 of 3 reasons: do it to eventually shut the place down. And / or look for human trafficking which they generally never find. And seize any cash. They usually just seize the cash and never give it back. But it's intended to scare the AMP owners, 4th degree misdemeanor on the girls, shut it down, and please the neighbors and elected officials.

As far as the raid itself:

An undercover cop or paid informant goes in a bit ahead of time. Plays along, does some groping, enough to get the girls to touch them "inappropriately. ". The informant goes in a second time a week later or so, so they have two counts for the same offense. That's enough to convince the judge for a search warrant. It's also enough to scare the girls when h multiple counts are presented. Typically, , drop one of the charges and only push for one count, usually 4th degree misdemeanor prostitution charge, which doesn't hurt their citizenship efforts, usually. I stress "usually"..

It sounds like you have a vast amount of experience in this area of the Justice System.
