The scam worked on me for the following reasons. My hope is you, gentlemen will avoid the same fate. The skip, the game profile is fairly generic, although it links to a personal website, which is usually a good indicia of reliability. The website and perhaps skip the game profile include a link to an active Twitter account at horrorwhoreXXX. That profile, very convincingly reads like that of a young sex worker. There are some minor videos, all of which are the same woman in the skip the game ads and on the Twitter profile. There is a fair bit of engagement, although many of the postings have no comments on them. There is even a post about a negative USG review and why she has a no review policy. I dm'd the Twitter user regarding the skip the game ad and received a prompt response with some flirty texting back-and-forth. That abruptly ended with a statement that they do not sext for free and if I wanted to make an appointment, I either needed to make a deposit or put a deposit down for the "fuck a fan" that we were flirting about. I was still reluctant, so I checked out her other social media, which was linked in her link tree in her Twitter bio, which included a Reddit account and other social media. The social media convincingly reads like a young sex worker, there are references to addiction recovery from meth, and a recently deceased cat.

Based on all of this indicia in the friendly conversation, I took a risk and lost.

The worst thing about it is that she continued to text and flirt with me for the next 24 hours up until the time of our appointment where she ghosted me. I do not understand why she had me go to an apartment building and park there and I will note that her description of all the details was accurate suggesting the individual has some knowledge of the area. But they never tried for more cash. Weird. But I would not have paid more.

So the moral of the story is no deposit ever regardless of how real or convincing a person may seem online. Pics from the ad in the personal collection are attached for a reference. I know that when I download them the photograph date goes all the way back to 2017. I suspect that someone either had their profile hacked or this is an older woman using her younger profile to catfish.
