Most of those sites are fake, and are set up to make you pay to talk to bots. Esp the ones over run w / local, and you get messages within minutes of signing up. I didn't even have any pics up on one of those type site, and had several messages in minutes. You have a right to be leery.

Capitalism, my friend. They have something to sell, and, since its a finite resource, they are looking to get as much for it as they can.

It may be they are overestimating what the market will bear, or, for all I know, there are dudes willing to pay that much. Or it may be that they are willing to sell it for $800 but they'd rather just keep it for themselves if all they can get at market is $300. My guess is that a lot of these girls get off on the fantasy of being a rich man's kept woman but don't want to think of themselves as pros so they mark their price way up to give them an illusion they aren't just selling what we all know they are.

There's no one answer. It's a combination of many. The such as insta / reddit / tiktok and capitalism. In my opinion, the reason on top is the job market and many other economic indicators have been great. Until there's a true downturn 2008 style I don't see prices ever returning. More people have more money to spend and with the IPO market opening back up we'll see prices drive further up.
