There is no legal mandate to publish an obituary.

I had an older relative recently die of natural causes. We chose not to publish a newspaper obit, simply sharing it among the extended circle worked just fine.

Damn, I would have avoided it had I known it has such a bad reputation. Until the ripoff report was posted today there were pretty much only positive reviews of Maddy. I read all the reviews going all the back and to the best of my recollection, no one mentioned anything about S8 or Maddy being in the no-fly zone. One issue is the confusion between the two girls both using the name Maddy. When that happens I quickly like to create a unique name, like "S8 Maddy" to kill any confusion. Luckily, my experience was without incident but I did notice that the parking lot was pretty sparse (very few cars) but the cleaning staff seemed abundant. A bit unusual for there to be so much cleaning staff on every floor at every corner. It was impossible to take a single step without running into them. So there was near zero privacy going in and out. Also, no elevators (I spent some time like an idiot looking for them) before giving up and taking the stairs.

Travel Inn and Super 8 have long been no fly zones for me. Exactly as described: half a trap house filled with vagrants, thugs, skanks and cons. There is much better - Even in Hartford!

Sorry that happened to you. But I don't see how that was your fault bro. I saw her not too long ago and spent over an hour with her without incident.
