Not to pile on because we've all done foolish things with these girls at one time or another but a few things jumped out at me with your story.

You referred to it as "lovemaking" at several points in your story and even brought her Valentines day gifts. Thats not so simple either. Of course that's good advice for pre-meeting comms with any new provider. But once you get there somebody has to break the ice (or else walk out). IMHO, its better never to even get in the same room with someone you think might wind up being a cop.
