Sting ads never stay up for long. I've found the best way to avoid the sting ads, as well as providers who are questionable for other reasons, is to simply avoid any advertiser who hasn't been posting for more than just a few days (or at least respond to such advertisers with more caution). Basic statistics. Always doesn't mean 100%. Put in perspective if you had 100 in your pocket and someone stole $98 of it you would say they stole ALL your $.
