I tried to visit Downtown Spa a couple of times, but the presence of a strong urine smell and some unsavory characters downstairs drove me away. Also, wasn't there a murder in that spa at one time?

I visited several AMP's in the Dupont Circle area over the years, as well as along the L Street corridor and on Capitol Hill. I also recall visiting several individual providers, including a Russian and a European, in the Foggy Bottom area.

Who remembers the infamous H & H flotation spa in upper Northwest? It wasn't an AMP; it featured an international staff. I saw several Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and South American providers at H & H as well as a couple of American providers. My most memorable visit there was with a Middle Eastern provider who gave me a CBJ, then inexplicably removed the condom before she mounted me and rode me raw in CG until I finished inside her. I sometimes wonder if I have a kid out there that I don't know about. That kid, if he or she exists, would be a young adult by now.

I just posted on the NOVA forum in response. Yes, I remember H&H. Wasn't her name Roxanne (or something like that)? I said I would go to a library with old WPs on microfiche and copy the ad page. Some AMPs had grand openings that lasted years!

I am sure we all remember our first AMP experience. For me it was Downtown Spa (1018 Vermont Ave) tucked up on the fourth floor above a restaurant. The ad reads, "Nr. 15th St. Btwn. K & L. Washington 10 am 2 am," and the ladies were great. I have no recollection of DC before Mayor-for-life (Marion Barry), but once he left office it was Mayor Anthony Williams' (the bowtie) P and B Abatement Act of 2004 that ruined this valuable service for us. Some young guys collected baseball cars, for me it was keeping track of each new AMP that popped-up in the Washington Post. The Adult Services section of the CityPaper was a good source too. Located on the back pages of such local papers, this is where we got the terms BackPage and BedPage. Could only get 1 of the 7 pages to upload.

Tried this place while I was in town recently. Nice location. Clean. Masseuse (Theresa? I think?) was a cute, in her 30's. Solid massage skills.

When doing google image search on the pictures, they would only turn up the outfits the lady was wearing.

But in the newest ads, the idiot poster put new pictures, and when you google image search them, they're the instagram pictures for a woman named Miranda who runs a legit massage business in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I've reported the poster to rubrankings and let Miranda know in case she needs to drop a train on someone.

Ah too bad. Pics were intriguing. Though now I want to see Miranda if I'm ever in Alberta haha. Though it looks strictly therapeutic but man Miranda is stacked!

Has anybody been suckered in by her yet? Her ad uses such great words that others don't and she has a unique look. I don't know why she doesn't have her name in there though, and when I texted her for an incall, she wanted one Ben as a deposit. Someone with no name and no reviews wants a big deposit, that's definitely a red flag.

I've given deposits to those with good reviews and reputations, and haven't been ripped off, but this is fishy.

Went to this place on H Street to get waxed and test my luck. The room where the waxing happened was right next to the main nails area and the walls didn't go all the way to the ceiling so I knew quickly I wasn't going to have much luck. Older lady did the job, she was nice enough but after finishing barely even cleaned me up, let alone giving me any kind of after care or massage. Damage was. 60 and gave a. 10 tip. I'll continue the search next time I need a wax.
