Some good notes here on being a traveler heading to Detroit clubs. Things I'll add, having flown in and rented a car, flown in and Uber'd and driven as an out-of-stater in my own vehicle:

1. There are probably few to no issues during the day, though it's never a bad idea to still be smart.

2. I'll echo the "stick to the main roads" thing. The clubs are all on main thoroughfares. There have been stories in the past about guys who have gone off the beaten path for one reason or another and had bad things happen. Stick to the main roads and you'll be fine. The roads are big enough that nothing's going to happen you can't see coming and avoid. If you're squeamish, fine, fill up in one of the suburbs first and keep your eyes forward the whole trip.

3. I know there's another poster here who rails against valets, their costs, the fights he gets in with the guys involved with them, how they can "refuse to give you your car back" and whatever, but seriously, especially if you're out of town, use them if you're driving. The alternative, if you're driving, is parking on some side street and walking a decent distance, probably with a bunch of money on you, which ain't smart.

4. If you can help it, drive something inconspicuous. Ain't no one going to jack your rusted Accord with 200,000 miles or your two-door rental Prius.

5. Take only the cash you're going to spend. ATM fees in some of these places are crazy, so take enough, but no more. Think realistically about how much that amount is going to be. The most I ever dropped in a night was probably $1,100, most of which was on takeout with a pair of ladies. I once finished three times in a night in a single club for less than a grand. I mean, yeah, maybe you're a bigger baller who wants to flash more cash or buy out a girl for the night or whatever, but the advice still applies. And, just like with the last point, the flashier you are, the bigger the target that might end up on your back.

6. Don't bring trouble upon yourself. Remember everyone in the building and on and around the surrounding roads is a person who deserves some respect. Party under control, whatever your poison may be.

7. On the flip side of the last point, if anything at all starts not feeling right, usually in the form of a dancer trying to rip you off somehow, trust your instinct and bail. Maybe pay the agreed price first, but no more, then bail. Calmly and under control, but still, bail. Cooler heads will prevail in any dispute, plus, more than likely, the dancer's been a problem before. Calmly bailing makes it clear you're not trying to skip out on anything, but also not interested in what she's selling. Don't try to salvage a situation where you're being upsold or made to do something you don't want to do.

I get that my personality is different than many others in that I take a more tactical approach to clubbing, but I also think that's just the smart thing to do all the time. I've had bad experiences at Detroit clubs, but never anything life-altering. I think, like anything, you just got to be smart.

Nine dancers at Subi's. The talent level reminded me of Criket. Entice is late-20's, black, dark hair, large natural tits, and a medium build. She provided a great VIP experience. I'd repeat.

Perfect example to share about the area to someone non local. Get gas in another area, etc.

I always fill up at the big Citgo on Michigan Ave, just west of John Daly. Besides being the cheapest fuel around it is huge, well lit, and has security. I've filled up there all times of day including at midnight and never felt unsafe or threatened. There is nothing to worry about.

Oh yes, don't over think it here, the girls are very up front what's available, I still think 2500 is too much to bring in at one time. Maybe do a run to the car to replenish but I'd not carry that much in, for reasons mentioned. A lot of seedy people in the cities where the clubs are, the girls are equally as seedy. Not all obviously, but I don't recall meeting one I'd bring home to Mom LOL. KY is pretty safe if you avoid meth and the likes, Inkster is far more dangerous than any city I've visited in KY. Not to scare you off, I've never had issues, but I also don't go at night, cause issues, get road rage etc. I've stayed in every part of KY Bowling Green, Louisville, Lexington, Covington, Florence, Frankfort, Bardnstown, and smaller cities went through a bourbon phase LOL. Not once day or night did I feel uncomfortable.

Tell the dancer what you want to do, she'll day an amount, either accept or counter offer. Set the rules, no song count, cash after service like you'll be surprised at the miles you can get and value for the dollar.

DO NOT WORRY about safety in Inkster (or Dearborn). Bogart's & Flight Club are right on Michigan Avenue which is a huge, 4 lanes in each direction boulevard. Each club it totally self contained with its own parking lot and no neighbors. FC has mandatory valet, and a ton of visible security.

Same with Henry VIII North, which is just around the corner from those on Middlebelt which is a major, 2 lanes in each direction road. H8 N has it's own fenced in parking lot, and is next to a small neighborhood of basic, single family homes.

Silver Criket & BT's are in the next town over, Dearborn, which further east on Michigan Ave towards the city of Detroit. Both are perfectly safe. Criket has it's own private, fenced in parking lot in back with visible security in the lot and club, and is next to a McDonald's, a BBQ restaurant, and near a motel. Three years ago at 2 am there was a shooting outside Criket that apparently stemmed from a fight inside, that's the only reported violence I've ever heard of there.

BT's has mandatory valet, but you can always park in the lot immediately east of it which services a grocery store, couple of restaurants, and other light retail. It is in front of a normal, middle class neighborhood of single family homes.

I have a different perspective, I don't think it is particularly dangerous unless you are doing something stupid. I go almost exclusively at night. The clubs are full with guys who look old and feeble. I could likely easily beat them up, and I am a pretty wimpy guy.

As long as you don't get out of control drunk and pick with fights with people, you will be fine.

Agree once inside in unless you get stupid we're fine. Aside from getting a rob or possibly a bf / handler finds out about a lot of cash, who knows what's setup can occur.

I was referring to the area getting in my case I'm 40 minutes freeway get off at mi ave in Canton and it gradually gets rust worse. Wayne isn't bad but once you cross into Inkster it just is rough. Fbi stats on the city are not too positive LOL.

Inkster is far more dangerous than any city I've visited in KY. Not to scare you off, I've never had issues, but I also don't go at night, cause issues, get road rage etc.

It's my my first time here, also first time trying out the club scene in the metro, long story short, I had met Taylor. Nice convo, So I Went to the back with her, had a great time. Finished in her. It's all play money. The reason I ask is that I recently moved to Kentucky and down there it is tricky to get them to peel from their regulars unless they know you got more cash. Reading this board though it seems that they are shrewd negotiators so I so thank you for all these responses. I will probably leave all about 500 in my room. I will be up that way in April so thanks again for the input and as to why I like to have as much as I do it's just that I don't ever want to run into an opportunity that I would have to say no to you never know what opportunity will show up out of the blue.

This is a common scam I call the unintended upgrade. You negotiate for a BJ and while back there she tries to stick it in. After you're finished she demands more money, sometimes something ridiculous like 600. Best to always stick with the plan.

Why should I avoid Kat? There wouldn't have been a problem if you hadn't paid first. I never, never, pay first. I'd guess 80% of the girls will screw you if you pay first.

A few things. That sounds like your a make it rain type clubber, make way too much money, or are horrible with savings so spend like mad. If the middle, good for you, if you're not maximizing your retirement accounts I'd set aside more for that, less strippers just my. 02. I certainly wouldn't let a stripper know you have that much, you're a target to get robbed, pick pocketed etc. 3 k in hundreds isn't too thick of a stack and easier to manage but if 20 $ is quite obvious a large stack in your pockets.

Me I set my budget to $200-300 and try to get 1 or 2 FS rounds. If only 1 round I have cash left when I leave.

When I first started visiting and getting extras I went to LS and Legends, or the 8 mile consuming obviously pre curtains years. I would use the ATM there and would spend way too much for a single session, drinks etc. More mature me with a lot more responsibilities and use for money I like the lower end clubs and find no big VIP tax, no valet etc to be refreshing. Sure the chicks are not as hot and I sometimes leave without a VIP session, but I still have fun.
